رواية \"ليس وداعا يا قدس\"، للكاتب المقدسي محمد شاكر عبدالله من ندرة ما يكتب عن القدس ومن كون كاتبها المقدسي يحيا تفاصيل المكان والحدث بكامل فسيفسائه، حيث تصور الرواية بحميمية لصيقة معاناة جماعية للشعب الفلسطيني وخيبة أمله خلال الأيام والشهور التي واكبت وتبعت الهزيمة القاصمة في حرب حزيران يونيو 1967 واقتلاع مئات الآلاف من أبناء هذا الشعب من ديارهم ونزوحهم إلى الضفة الشرقية في انتظار عودة ما تزال حلما سرياليا حتى يومنا هذا. بطل الرواية شاب حمل سراب آمال أجيال كانت معلقة على أنظمة كانت ترفع شعارات التحرير الفارغة وسرعان ما تهاوت الجيوش خلال ساعات وانسحقت بذلك إرهاصات المستقبل وتطلعات ترعرعت وبسقت واخضرت أغصانها وفي ساعات احترقت وتحولت رمادا تذروها رياح الزمن المتطاول بلا نهاية.
