إنه يحمل قصائد كانت شبه مفقودة صدرت لأول مرة كقصيد \"أقبل الأفراح\" و بعض القصائد مجهولة القائل وأخرى معروف أصحابها كقصيد \"سار النسيم بالسحر\" لعبد الكريم بن سماعيل فقد تمت سابقا طباعة البعض من النصوص في \"مجموع القصائد الأدبي طبعة ردوسي أو المطبعة الثعالبية\"، كما أن في تدوينه لهذه الأعمال على دفتره، قام الشيح مماد قد بالمحافظة على الألحان الأصلية، وهي على طباق وقياس الموسيقى الأندلسية.
