الكتاب جاء في 400 صفحة يمكن أن نقول أن الربع اأاول منه ركز على الجوانب الأكاديمية والمنهجية : التعريف اللغوى والاصطلاحي مفردا ومركبا للسياسة الشرعية، حجية السياسة الشرعية وأهميتها وابرز المصنفات فيها. وفي هذا الربع كان المحور والمدار على ما يعرف بالأحكام السلطانية غالبا. وفي بقية الكتاب تناول أسس السياسة الشرعية (المصلحة المرسلة، سد الذرائع، العرف، الاستحسان)، ثم انتقل لمرتكزات السياسة الشرعية وتناول 12 مرتكزا. وهنا توسع قليلا في مفهوم السياسة الشرعية ولم يتقيد بما يخص الاحكام السلطانية فقط. الكتاب مهم ومفيد للناشئة وكل من يرغب بتأصيل هذا العلم المركزي والهام خاصة في عصرنا والذي لا يزال يحتاج الكثير من الدراسات والأبحاث والتي سيكون منها بالتأكيد الأجزاء القادمة للمؤلف جزاه الله خيرا، ونتشوق لمطالعتها والاستفادة منها.
