يصدر \"المرجع في إنعاش الوليد\" عن الجمعية الأمريكية لطب الأطفال ويحدث دوريا وقد صدرت طبعته الأخيرة (السابعة) عام 2016. يعتبر هذا الكتاب من الكتب الأكثر شيوعا في مجاله وربما كان الأعمق تأثيرا في عالم طب الولدان وهو كتاب تعتمده كثير من كليات الطب لتدريب من يتعامل مع الطفل خلال مرحلة الوليد ويشتمل الكتاب في طبعته الحالية على أحد عشر فصلا وتناقش مبادئ الانعاش النظرية وخطواته العملية بالتفصيل كما يتعرض لحالات الولدان شديدي الخداج ويناقش المعضلات الأخلاقية المتعلقة بإنعاشهم ويساهم هذا الكتاب عبر الدورات التي تعتمد عليه في تحسين نتائج تدبير الولدان عند تعرضهم لما يستدعي انعاشهم كنقص الاكسجين ويقلل من حدوث العقابيل التي تنعكس سلبا على حياة المريض وعائلته ومجتمعه.
