كتاب من أدب الرحلات وينطلق الكاتب بقلمه الساخر ليقدم صور من أمريكا والعصر الأمريكي الذي تعيشه مستخدما حاسة السخرية والفكاهة التي يحول بها ابن البلد مآسيه إلى ضحكات وقفشات ويقدم شهادة ابن الشعب على ما يدور حوله فهو لا يشهد الأحداث عن بعد ولكنه يتفاعل معها وخلص في كتابه إلى تعرية أمريكا وكشف وجهها القبيح المتوارى خلف الواجهة الاعلامية المزيفة والتى قامت حضارتها فى الاساس على جثث السكان الأصلين الهنود الحمر وعلى يد مجموعة من المغامرين المنبذوين الذين هاجروا إلى أمريكا طمعا فى هذه الأرض البكر التى تغيرت وتشكلت من جديد على يد هؤلاء النازحين.
