جاء هذا الكتاب \"ابن الفارض والحب الإلهي\" في ثلاثة أقسام يتحدث المؤلف عنهم ويقول تناولت في القسم الأول ترجمة ابن الفارض وأطوار حياته وروح العصر الذي عاش فيه ومكانه في بيئته ومبلغ تأثره بعصره وحللت فيه حياته الصوفية وعرضت في القسم الثاني لحب ابن الفارض وطبيعته والكشف عما إذا كان هذا الحب كله حبا إلهيا أم حبا إنسانيا أم هو مزاج من الحبين وعكفت في القسم الثالث على دراسة حب شاعرنا من الناحية الفلسفية فحاولت أن أحلله إلى عناصره الصوفية التي تنطوي على بعض المعاني الميتافيزيقية والأخلاقية وما إلى ذلك.
