مجموعة «لحن الشتاء» للكاتب البحريني عبدالله خليفة محاولة قصصية تندرج في سياق الحركة الأدبية المتصاعدة التي تعرفها البحرين في فترة السنوات الأخيرة حتى يومنا هذا ولعل حركة المضمون التي ينطوى عليها هذا الكاتب تشكل الحدث الأكثر بروزا وطغيانا فيه فالقضية هي قضية معاناة إنسانية عميقة الجذور متشعبة ترسم صيغ الأوضاع الاجتماعية والسياسية والإنسانية والحضارية التي يعاني منها الإنسان كإنسان في البحرين وأن هذا الأمر لا يعبر عنه الأديب تعبيرا مسطحا أو سريعا وعابرا إنما يشكل هاجسا أكبر يتنفس من كل كلمة وحرف وفاصلة.
