قد تحمل الأكواخ على صغرها سعادة وراحة للإنسان وقد تكون القصور بجدارنها وأضوائها البراقة جهنم صغرى قد يتعجب البعض وقد يرفض ولا يصدق البعض الآخر لكن بعد قراءة هذه المسرحية التي أبدعها الدكتور \"مصطفى محمودط سنتأكد من هذا الرأي ونعرف أن لكل نهار ليل لابد أن يعاش، وأن كل جنة دنست بأفعال الغش والكذب والسرقة لابد لها وأن تتحول إلى جهنم فها هو رجل الأعمال \"أحمد بك الشهاوي\" وزوجته وأولاده وحياتهم المليئة بالبذخ والملذات والمعاصي .. لم تمنع عنهم الكبوات التي حولت دنياهم من النعيم إلى الشقاء ولم تحفظه أحمد بك عن المصائب فيتحول من الدعاء والذكاء والحية التمقدة إلى تسول المساعدة ولو حتى للذهاب لقضاء حاجته فلم يستطيع الهرب من يوم حساب في الدنيا يتبعه ثان في الآخرة.
