إنها وقفه تأملات ينقلها لنا الدكتور مصطفى محمود على صفحات هذا الكتاب ففي هذا العالم التي تعج أرضه وسماءه وفضاءه بالموضوعات والقضايا والنظريات والمخلوقات وغيره لن تجد وقتا ولا مكانا تقف فيه مع نفسك ولو لوهلة تبحث عن لحظة هدوء فلن تجد لهذا ندعوك لهذه الوقفة والتأمل مع هذا الكتاب نأمل فيما حولك أشياء وموضوعات متنوعة لا يربطها ببعضها سوى أنه في عالم واحد وكتاب واحد نتحدث في نظرية داروين وبعض مظاهر العصر والفهلوة والحب. نقص القصص والحواديت ونسمعها مرة أخرى نتخيل أجناس أخرى وأكوان بعيدة واختراعات غريبة كل هذا نجده في هذاا الكتاب وهو لا يعدو أن يكون تأملات في دنيا الله.
