هي حقا مغامرة في الصحراء يعيشها ويحكيها الدكتور مصطفى محمود هي رحلة ذهابة إلى الأراض الليبية وبالأخص \"عذامس\" تلك الجنة ذات ال 48 درجة مئوية في الظل تمتلئ بالاشجار وقد بنى اهلها مبانيهم فوق الأنهار فكانت جنة تجري من تحتها الأنهار عن أهلها من \"الطوارق\" وعاداتهم التي هي مزيج من الإسلام والوثنية وبقايا التاريخ القديم يتحدث فنجد فيهم غرائب الأمور وأعجبها مثل مكانة المرأة المقدمسة التي هي بقايا عادات قديمة كانت تحكم المرأة على المجتمع وتنسب المولود إلى أمه وليس أبيه وتبيح تعدد أزواجها وحكمها عليهم .. كما نجد حرية الممارسة الجنسية قبل الزواج هذا بالرغم من دخول الإسلام على يد عقبه بن نافع، وغيره من الأشياء العجيبة التي تعرفها ونحياها في هذا الكتاب الحافل بالمغامرات والمعلومات فلا تدعوها تفلت من ايديكم.
