يشرح هو الصحابي الجليل أبو عبيدة بن الجراح الذي أمسك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بيمينه وقال عنه : (إن لكل أمة أمينا وأمين هذه الأمة أبو عبيدة بن الجراح) وهو الذي أرسله النبي في غزوة ذات السلاسل مددا لعمرو بن العاص وجعله أميرا على جيش فيه أبوبكر الصديق وعمر بن الخطاب وهو أيضا الصحابي الذي كان أول من لقب بأمير الأمراء.
