تشهد الساحة الإعلامية تطورا علميا وتكنولوجيا كبيرا في شتي وسائل الاتصال لقد أصبح المواطن العربي في ظل هذا الواقع الإعلامي محاصرا بكم هائل من الرسائل الإعلامية ومن العوامل التي وفرت لها البيئة الخصبة عدم تطور بعض وسائل الإعلام الرسمية في آلياتها وطرقها في متابعة الأحداث والوقائع والتأخر في تغطيتها وعدم الشفافية الواضحة والتي تقف حاجزا بين مروجي الشائعات إذ لازالت بعض وسائل الإعلام الرسمية إلى الآن تتعامل مع الأحداث والوقائع بالنظرة القديمة القاصرة والتي كانت تستخدم في أوقات ماضية في ظل عدم توفر وسائل التقنية الحديثة.
