يمثل كتاب (المنثور البهائي)، بالأصل، مخطوطا من تأليف أبي سعيد النيرماني علي بن محمد بن خلف، حققه الدكتور علي إبراهيم كردي وهذا المخطوط (بحسب المحقق) من المخطوطات الثمينة ولفرادته بين كتب الأدب، عزم على إخراجه للناس. فهو أحد الكتب التطبيقية، في أهم طرائق الأدباء لاكتساب الدربة والمقدرة على تدبيج النثر الفني وهي حل المنظوم وتحويل القصيدة البديعة إلى نص نثري بديع ويتألف الكتاب من مقدمة وتسعة أبواب هي على الترتيب : باب الحماسة، باب النسيب، باب المديح، باب الهجاء، باب الأدب، باب الأوصاف، باب التعازي،... إلخ.
