يختلف الكتاب عن معظم الكتب التى كتبت عن دور بريطانيا فى خلق دولة إسرائيل داخل فلسطين، فهو لا يلجأ إلى لغة الخطابة السياسية بل يلجأ إلى التوثيق والسرد التاريخى، الذى يبتعد عن إثارة المشاعر، فهو في الأصل جمع معلومات رافقت معرضا أقيم بصالة بروناي بلندن في سنة 2012 والكتاب موجه في الأصل إلى جمهور من القراء والذى يسعى إلى الحقيقة وإلى فهمها، لا سيما تلك المتعلقة بالدور البريطاني المشبوه لخدمة الحركة الصهيونية التي تمكنت من الوصول إلى القوى السياسية القائمة والتأثير فيها بحيث أصدرت وعدها المعروف وعملت جاهدة على الوفاء به رغم ما أحدثه هذا من ضرر بليغ بأهالي البلاد التى انتدبت بريطانيا لإدارتها بعد انتهاء الحرب العالمية الأولي.
