يتحدث هذا الكتاب \"عن ثقافة النهضة\" عن أن كل أمة من الأمم وعلى رأسها المسلمون والنصارى واليهود لها شريعة وهي \"الأحكام العملية التي يتمثلها الإنسان لطاعة الله\" ومنهاج وهو \"السبيل الواضح\" والمسلك الذي يوصل الإنسان إلى الحقائق مع الاتفاق بين هذه الأديان والأمم في أصول العقيدة لهذا ينبغي لنا تشخيص مناهج الدين في شتى الموضوعات والموارد، ومن بينها ما نحن بصدد بحثه أي المتعلق بفكرة النهضة ومشروعها ويتحدث الكتاب عن التأسيس لمنهج النهضة في الدين القائم على التزاوج بين العقل والروح واهتم بمناقشة القيم العقلية المقدمية.
