هذه الذكريات ليست تحليلا عمليا تتصل بعلاقات شخصية وأواصر ودية وتباثث نجاوى، فهي تحفل بألوان من الثناء والحديث لشبهة التمدح هو أدنى عن النفس، وإن حجب بعض الثناء باصطناع التواضع أو إغفاله دفعا للجميل. بنعمة الإخاء وعرفانا الجحود. وإن في إثباته تحدثا وبعد، فقد كانت العرب تقول لمن يهتف أو يهذي بالشعر قبل أن يجيده : \"إنه يقرزم\" ولكت، ومن قرأ بواكير شعره رآها متينة وما عرفه الشعر قرزاما مجيدا البدوي طلع على الدنيا شاعرا السبك رائعة المعانين مما جعل الشاعر الكبير بشارة الخوري يقول : \"إن شعر البدوي أرجح من عمره\". وجعل العلامة المجمعي الشيخ عبد القادر المغربي يصفه بالشاعر الذي تمردت عبقريته على ناموس التدرج.
