يتناول كتاب (نوادر في محطات سفر) والذي قام بتأليفه قاسم سلطان في حوالي (83) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (الرحلات)، فهذا الكتاب يجمع مجموعة من الطرائف المتنقلة بين مطارات العالم، والنوادر التي تلقي بظلالها على خواطر الناس بين دمعة وابتسامة، والمستحسن والمستهجن من السلوك إضافة إلى غرائب وعجائب في طبائع الشعوب. ففي الفصل الأول يذكر مواقف طرائف السفر، وفي الفصل الثاني نحن النوادر، ومع جاسوس البطيخ وغيرها، وفي الفصل الثالث تفتح النوافذ على العالم وفي كل نافذة خاطرة يجتمع فيها المألوف مع غير المألوف بسرد ممتع ومواقف لطيفة ودلالات معبرة، تدل على أن فوائد السفر ليست أربعة فقط وإنما هي كثيرة ومتنوعة ومتجددة فيها الكثير من الدروس والعبر والتعارف والتثقف، مما يؤكد في كثير من الأحيان على ضرورة العودة ثانية وثالثة ورابعة.
