يحتوي كتاب (الحيثيون) الذي بين أيدينا على قصة الكشف عن تاريخ الحيثين وتناول موجزا لتاريخ الحيثين من الفترة التي ظهروا فيها لأول مرة حوالي أواخر القرن التاسع عشر قبل الميلاد ويدرك القارئ خطوة الدور الذي لعبه لحيثيون في تاريخ الشرق الأوسط القديم فهم الذين اسقطوا أعظم دولة قامت في الفرق القديم وهي دولة بابل الأولى التي من ملكوها حمورابي العظيم صاحب القوانين المشهورة باسمه وكان ذلك حوالي 1600ق.م.
