زهرة العمر هي سيرة ذاتية لتوفيق الحكيم وتختلف هذه السيرة الذاتية عن غيرها من نصوص المذكرات المعروفة بأنها مجموعة من الرسائل يكتبها توفيق الحكيم إلى صديق له في باريس، بحيث يصف حياته كتلميذ قانون في فرنسا كما يذكر الأسباب التي أدت إلى عدم نجاحه. كتبها أولا بالفرنسية ولما عاد إلى مصر إلى العربية ونشرها بدون أن يلتزم ترتيبا دقيقا من حيث تاريخها فأكثر الرسائل تخلو من التاريخ لذا رتبها بحسب الحوادث.
