وهي جولة أسرية قامت بها المؤلفة مع زوجها وابنتيها وابنها الصغير إلى أوروبا، بدأت في أوائل يوليو وانتهت بعودتهم سالمين إلى مصر في أوائل أغسطس، زارت خلال هذه الفترة التي مرت سريعا أشهر المدن الأوروبية : لندن وباريس وجينيف وزيوريخ وميلانو ومدريد ومدن أقليم أندلوثيا (الأندلس) وجاء الكتاب لاهثا بالتأكيد، فالفترة ضيقة، فنصف الحديث كان عن المواصلات التي استقلوها والمبالغ التي أنفقوها والوصف اللاهث السريع للمدن وشوارعها ومعالمها المشتهرة والنصف الثاني كان في الحنين إلى مصر والمقارنة بين ما تراه وبين ما عهدته فيها.
