فى هذه المسرحيه يتخيل المؤلف وجود كارثه أرضيه بفعل عوامل طبيعيه أثبتها العلم ويتخيل فى ظل هذه الكارثه أحوال كوكب الأرض وسلوكيات البشر الذين يعيشون عليه، فيتهكم -فى إطار أدبى شيق وساخر- على العلم والفن، ويسخر متخيلا أسوأ حال يكون عليه البشر على كوكب الأرض، وينتقى شخصيات غريبه ومتناقضه لتكون أبطالا لمسرحيته هذه. إنهم أربعه نزلاء فى مستشفى للأمراض العقليه يحكون عن فشلهم فى حياتهم وعن الجرائم التى ارتكبوها.
