Death of \"Papillon\" author Henri Charriere last week came only days after he'd given his British publishers the finished manuscript of \"Banco,\" the sequel to his real-life escape from Devil's Island. It concerns his return to France in 1940, seeking revenge for his imprisonment, and carries through 1967. Hart-David-McGibbon publishers are now rushing a quick release to bookstalls in September.
