هذا ديوان ابن سهل الأندلسي مرتبا على حروف الهجاء وهو مما عنى بترتيبه وتهذيبه ابن دهان ولأهمية هذا الكتاب عنى بالتقديم له بدراسة تدور حول حياة ابن سهل وشعره ومما قاله مؤلف هذه المقدمة عن شعره نذكر أكثر ما بقي من شعر ابن سهل يقع في موضوعين كبيرين هما المدح والغزل وأقله يتصل بالهجاء والرثاء ووصف الضيعة والمراسلات الإجوانية ولو وضعناه في \"رقعة\" عصره لوجدنا أنه لم يستهلك قريحة في تطلب الصور المولودة أو الجديدة.
