صدر عن ندوة القافة والعلوم في دبي كتاب شرح منظومة اليواقيت من فن المواقيت للدكتور حسن باصرة، رئيس قسم الفلك بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز عضو جمعية الفلك بالقطيف، والكتاب هو شرح لمنظوموة محمد بن أحمد الشاطري اليواقيت من فن المواقيت، ويقع الكتاب في 255 صفحة بدأها المؤلف بمقدمة الناظم، ثم عن الناظم بايجاز، ثم مقدمة، بعد ذلك قسم الكتاب ستة أبواب : الأول : افتتاحية المنظومة. الثاني : المجموعة الشمسية. الثالث : الشمس وبروجها . الرابع : القمر ومنازله. الخامس : التقاويم. السادس : التوقيت والظل.
