يتناول مؤلف بذل العلم والود في شرح تفصيل العقد شرح منظومة في علم القراءات للإمام أبي عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن محمد بن علي بن غازي، التي تعد من أهم المؤلفات في الطرق العشرة لنافع. ولقيمتها العلمية والمعرفية فقد تصدى لها عدد من العلماء بالشرح والبسط، ففكوا ألغازها وفسروا غريب ألفاظها وبينوا إعرابها، ومن بينهم الشيخ أبي زيد عبد الرحمن بن محمد القصري المعروف بالخباز (ت 964 هـ. )
