هذه دراسة الأربع مفاخرات أدبية من العصر المملوكي نستشف منها صورة للحياة الاجتماعية في العصر المملوكي الزاخر بالأحداث الهامة بالإضافة إلى ذلك اللون الأدبي الخاص بالمفاخرات والمناظرات الغير معروف الآن وهي تهدنا بمعلومات اليمة عن متنزهات القاهرة وبعض معالمها الهامة تفيد فى دراسة التخطيط العمراني والاجتماعي القاهرة مثل بركة الرطلى والجسر والجزيرة الوسطى وجزيرة الروضة وقناطر الأوزوغيرها. وتمثل تلك المفاخرات لونا أدبيا انتشر في العصر المملوكي اتسم بالطابع الشعبي العام.
