يتناول كتاب (بغية النبيه من ترجمة الحبيب علي بن شيخ بلفقيه رحمة الله تعالى، (1329-1416 هـ)) والذي قاما بتأليفه (زيد بن عبد الرحمن بن يحيى، منير سالم بازهير) في حوالي (424) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تراجم العلماء المسلمون) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : الباب الأول : نسبه ومولده وأسرته وترجمة والدة وشيوخه، الباب الثاني : أقرانه وأصدقائه وعلاقته بأعضاء جمعية الأخوة وتوليه نظارة المعارف بالدولة الكثيرية ولمحة عن أخلاقة مع طلابه، الباب الثالث : إقامته بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ثم استقراره بدولة الإمارات ونشاطه بهما... إلخ.
