2020
The woman forms half of the community, she has always had that important and significant role next to the man through ages, still she has suffered a great deal from discrimination and misbehavior. In spite of communities' development and culture progress, woman status is still stigmatized and despised by some thoughts, and traditional prejudgments concerned with woman are still predominant. Proverbs are considered the pillars and the milestones to all thoughts, doctrines, traditions, and believes of a community. Thus, the research will study the image of woman in Persian, Arabic, Turkish Azerbaijan Proverbs, the similarities and differences between them based on descriptive analytical approach. It's worth saying that in spite of woman status elevation in modem societies, the wrong negative historical and typical attitudes towards woman are still present in evoking her in proverbs. Making a change in this stand requires a national determination, outlining national programs and finding modem culture that suites with woman status and her role.
