Phenomenology of Living Body
The interest in the redefinition of man is a special feature of contemporary philosophy, as it coincided with the development of many sciences such as psychology and physiology... and the discovery of the phenomenological approach to philosophy, which focuses primarily on the study of phenomena in their actual presence. This has led many philosophers to adopt this approach and to present their bold ideas on the most complex issues, including the issue of the realization of the philosophy that has plagued philosophy since its inception, and the questions related to the nature and source of knowledge, which have divided philosophy into two directions: material and spiritual. Merleau-Ponty has a new conception of this, which the greatest philosophers have violated through history, so that it gives value and precedence to the body at the expense of the soul.
