We derive model-independent constraints on four-fermion contact interaction-type dynamics from the published preliminary LEP2 experimental data on e+e- annihilation into \\(\\mu^+\\mu^-\\) and \\(\\tau^+\\tau^-\\) pairs, measured at different energies between 130 and 207 GeV. The basic observables are chosen to be the total cross section and the forward-backward asymmetry, and the analysis realistically takes into account data uncertainties and correlations among measurements at the various energies. The combination of data from different energy points plays an important role in the determination of regions allowed for the contact interaction coupling constants. In contrast to the more common one-parameter analyses, we only obtain constraints on pairs of parameters rather than limits on individual ones.

A virtual laboratory setup for studying the drying process of a wide range of bulk solid fractions in fluidized bed apparatuses
2020
The paper presents a software package for the simulation of the processes of gas flow dynamics and bulk solids drying in vertical fluidized bed systems. The fluidized bed system technology processes, mathematical methods, as well as stages of experiments carried out in the virtual laboratory are described in detail. Fluidized bed behaviors in varied heated air flow rates are described. An algorithm for the operation of the virtual unit is presented including modules containing mathematical models of complex heat transfer systems, gas flow dynamics and control of the drying process, as well as interaction with expandable databases with information on the physical and chemical properties of feed materials, purge gases, and ready-made design solutions. The process of comparing the results obtained in the virtual and real low-temperature simulation models is described.

Modification of glass durability in reactive ion etching with thermal poling and ion exchange
2020
The influence of thermal poling and ion exchange on the rate of reactive ion etching of a soda-lime silicate glass in CF4-Ar plasma was studied. It is shown that the replacement of Na+ by Ag+ ions increases the durability of the glass etching while thermal poling of the glass increases the etching rate. The fastest etching was registered for the glasses poled using deposited metal film anodic electrode and using corona discharge in nitrogen atmosphere. Corona poling of the glass in atmospheric air instead of nitrogen essentially decreased the rate.

Second harmonic generation
2018
An analytical study of the second harmonic generation by metal core - dielectric shell spherical nanoparticles was performed. Dependences of the second harmonic intensity on the dielectric shell thickness were calculated. We demonstrated that the thin coating allows tuning surface plasmon resonance wavelength, whereas in presence of the thick shell spatial Mie resonances occur. Estimated efficiency of these resonances surpasses the impact of the plasmon enhancement in the second harmonic generation. Possibility to combine plasmon (metal) and spatial (dielectric) resonances to achieve even more advantage in the second harmonic generation was shown.

In recent years, we have witnessed a considerable growth in number of strains resistant to antibiotics. Therefore, research on new antimicrobial components that might be used for development of new-generation drugs is currently very important. We have studied antibiotic activity of Bacillus safensis, Bacillus endopheticus, Bacillus subtilis strains, isolated their bacteriocins, and evaluated their properties. The study was carried out in the scientific research institute for biotechnology, Kemerovo Institute of Food Science and Technology, in the city of Kemerovo. Strains of microorganisms were isolated from vegetables grown in Krasnodar region, namely, samples of Manas onions, Big Beef tomatoes, and Capia bell peppers. Antibiotic activity of the strains was evaluated in liquid nutrient medium. All test strains demonstrated some level of antimicrobial activity which varied from 18 to 91%. We established minimum inhibitory concentrations for the isolated strains based on measured optical density; MIC for Bacillus safensis was 1.5*106 CFU/сm3, for Bacillus endopheticus, 1.5*106 CFU/сm3, for Bacillus subtilis, 1.5*106 CFU/сm3. We then isolated respective bacteriocins and purified them by HPLC method. During disk diffusion tests, bacteriocin preparations proved active against Micrococcus luteus strain. Molecular weight was determined by PAGE electrophoresis. Molecular weight of bacteriocins varied from 3.6 through 4.21 kDа. Isolated bacteriocins were proved to belong to the lantibiotics class.

Four-step fabrication of SERS-active microfluidic channels
2018
We present a technique to fabricate SERS substrates fully integrated with microfluidic channels. The fabrication of microsized dielectric channels was based on selective wet etching of a poled/unpoled silicate glass while silver nanoisland film was grown on the bottom of the channels via out-diffusion technique. Different combinations of fabrication steps were studied to optimize the channels' depth, formation of the metal nanoislands and the roughness of the channels' bottom.

Biochemical status of the sow body with the use of vitamin and mineral supplement in the diet
2020
The diet of monogastric animals should be adjusted for vitamin and mineral nutrition during the period of growing and economic use. They affect all types of metabolism, especially in the last third of gestation of sows and the development of young pigs in the postnatal period. For sows throughout the period of gestation and suckling, it is important to include in the diet such biogenic element as folic acid, as well as a set of essential trace elements (copper, zinc, cobalt, manganese) and group B vitamins, the use of which during the entire production cycle helped to improve prolificacy of sows by 15.2%, the average increase was 8.8% and the safety of young pigs dairy period of cultivation is 7.2%, which reduced the cost of feed for growing one reared pig by 10.6-18.1 %.

2018
For the first time, the reconstruction of variations in the duration over several hundred years was conducted on the basis of models developed by comparing hydrometeorological observations and detailed scanning of the chemical composition of bottom sediments accumulated during the corresponding period. The gauge models for the reconstruction of air temperature and ice cover of the water area for three sites in the northern part of the Chukchi Sea have been developed. During the reconstruction, an insignificant increase in the duration of the ice-free period during the Little Ice Age was established, which does not coincide with the changes in the temperature regime that took place. It is concluded that the dynamics of the inflow of warm Pacific waters through the Bering Strait had the predominant influence on the ice regime of the Chukchi Sea.

2017
We probe the resonance properties of complex plasmonic structures by Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy (SNOM). Groups of three differently arranged silver nanoparticles covered with Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) analyte Rhodamine 6G were chosen to visualize electric field distribution nearby the nanostructures. The particles were grown on the surface of a silver-ion-exchanged glass using thermal poling and annealing of the processed glass substrate in hydrogen atmosphere. The morphology of the nanoparticles and their arrangement in the groups were characterized with Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The near-field SERS maps superimposed on the AFM scans of the studied groups of nanoparticles visualize the Raman hotspots with 100 nm resolution.

Practical and scientific basis for development of fermented bioproduct with dietary properties
2020
Using vegetable raw materials in a fresh or processed form is of concern for food production sphere. A wide range of useful nutrients comprising fresh gourds crops, which grow in southern federal region, determines the prospects for their processing. The present article lists materials devoted to the issue of widening the range of functional properties of fermented products. The article substantiates the necessity processing fermented products which were enriched with indispensable nutrients using the innovative vegetable raw material. To this end a production technology for fermented bioproduct with addition of gourds concentrates was developed. Gourds crops' pulp is rich in food fibers, antioxidants, vitamins and folic acid. However, owing to seasonal cultivation, it is relevant to concentrate gourds' pulps favouring to moderate temperature conditions under vacuum. Researches were conducted in the laboratory of the Department of Food Production Technology, Volgograd State Technical University. The material for studying was represented by biologically active additives \"Euflorin-B\" and \"Euflorin-L\", yoghurt DVS-sourdough \"Lactoferm ECO\", gourds pulps - watermelon's, pumpkin's, melon's, - and also experimentally received samples of sour-milk clumps, concentrates and bioproduct. During the research, a selection of probiotic bacterial means was made. Technology of preparing the gourds concentrates was made and their nutrition value was assessed, including carbohydrate richness and measuring of sweetness. The recipe of innovative fermented bioproduct was optimized. The possibility of gourds processing was scientifically justified. It was also proved that gourds' concentrate can be used to produce innovative fermented products for usual and dietary purposes.
