Well, if you can capture an emotional moment like that, maybe you should think of quitting your day job. Meanwhile, you probably take plenty of pictures on vacation, on the playing fields or in your own...

The Eighth Amendment is, of course, one of the most serious in our Constitution, one that has been fiercely debated, particularly during this century. Good taste, however, would suggest that, actual photos depicting cruel and unusual punishment ought not to be encouraged. For purposes of this contest, then, a humorous approach might be more suitable. Look, for example, for a small boy reluctantly taking out the garbage or raking the lawn--or, if you know a gardener, get a picture of a man with a hoe, working in the hot sun.

The Eastman Kodak company of Rochester, N. Y., has sent the following statement to THE TRIBUNE regarding defective transparent films:

THE Kodak Advertising Contests are not for the purpose of securing sample prints. They are for the purpose of securing illustrations to be used in our magazine advertising, for street car cards, for booklet covers and the like.
