Factors Affecting Choosing of Egyptian Consumer for Green Products
This study set out to determine the factors affecting the Egyptian consumers' choice of green products. It was conducted among the consumers of retail stores at Mansoura city. Questionnaires was used to collect primary data regarding independent variables (i.e. factors related to green marketing mix, environmental factors, and personal factors), dependent variable (i.e. consumer choice), and the demographic variables. Statistical methods used to test the hypotheses were that Descriptive statistics, Simple and Multiple linear regressions. The result showed that there are significant effects of factors related to green marketing mix and environmental factors on consumer choice of green product, and also, there is a non-significant effect of personal factor on consumer choice of green products. The results also indicated that there are significant effects of factors related to green marketing mix, environmental factors and personal factors separately on consumer choice of green product and it also differ according to demographic variables.
