There can be no basis for ecological responsibility when we commodify the world and monetize our values. The true praxis of ecological responsibility, ethic of sacrifice – that is, \"making things sacred\". Our ecological responsibility is to treat life as sacred, to regard it as the expression of divine Beauty, and to respond to it out of the compassionate depths of our own primordial nature, which, like its substance, is intrinsically Good. It is by the restoration of our inner beauty that we can recover the outer equilibrium that is the goal of ecological responsibility. It is by discovering what is sacred within our souls that we can discover \"the dearest freshness deep down things\", and only then can we fulfil the burden of our Trust and restore our harmony with nature.

التصوف طريق الإسلام الجوانية هو كتاب لإيريك جوفروا الذي دخل إلى الإسلام عبر بوابة التصوف كما دخل كثيرون غيره عبر هذا الباب المنفتح على اللانهائي الذي لا ينغلق ويقبل بالواحد والمتعدد، يقدم الكتاب درسا للفرق المتخاصمة (إسلاميا)، بدرسه لتصوف الفقيه وحديثية الصوفي، ورغم ذكره لنماذج تؤكد الصراع بين هذه الفرق وغيرها، كالصراع الذي امتد فترة بين الصوفية والشيعة، إلا أنه يذكرنا باتصال هؤلاء واشتراكهم عبر سلاسل النسب والعقائد وكلهم ساع إلى الوصول.

While Ibn ‘Arabī is known as the “greatest master” of the spirituality and esotericism of Islam, the Emir Abd el-Kader is better known for his uprising against the French occupation, between 1832 and 1847. Yet, he was brought up in a Sufi environment and always declared that his spiritual vocation came before all else. This article explores the symbolism of the Feminine in the metaphysical and mystical teachings of these two Sufi sages.

Ibn Arab! explains that this love that the Prophet felt for women was due to the fact that they are the manifestation of God's most actualized beauty on earth. Since the Divine Essence is utterly inaccessible and independent from the worlds, the contemplation of God requires spiritual supports, and woman is said to be the most perfect \"locus of manifestation\" [mazhar) of God.1 Herein lies the justification for the usage of the formula 'The Eternal feminine' by the very pen of Ibn 'Arab!: \"By 'women' I mean the Femininity diffused into the world: it is manifested more in women, which is why they have been made dear to him they have been made dear to [that is, the Prophet]. \"27 Let us note first that this verse opens chapter The Women [al-nisä'), which cannot be considered as a coincidence. [...]the conventional, male chauvinistic interpretation (and translation) of this verse contradicts the very letter of the Qur'anic text.

التعدد في الإسلام، أو الوعي بالآخرية

A celebrated passage from the Qur'an stresses the dignity accorded to Nature in the divine economy: \"Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant\" (33:72). [...]a first teaching that we can take from this verse is: far from being reality with no consciousness or simply inanimate objects, the skies, the earth, the land and the mountains are worthy of being God's partners. If He please He will take you off and bring a new creation\" (14:19). [...]the Islamic tradition - the Qur'an and the Prophet's sayings - teaches us that there is an extraterrestrial and extra-human life.
