Cyberbullying victimization and its influence on Physical Education outcomes among school students
Introduction: The study addressed the growing concern of cyberbullying among school students and its impact on physical education outcomes, a relationship that remains underexplored in the literature. the topic is particularly relevant given the increasing digital engagement of adolescents and the psychosocial demands of physical education environments. Objective: the objective was to examine the influence of cyberbullying victimization on participation, performance, motivation, and attitudes in physical education, and to test the mediating role of body image perception and the moderating role of peer support. Methodology: a quantitative, cross-sectional design was employed using a structured questionnaire administered to 150 secondary school students. statistical analyses included linear regression, pearson’s correlation, mediation, and moderation models. Results: the results showed that cyberbullying victimization significantly reduced students’ pe participation, performance, and motivation. body image was found to mediate this relationship, while peer support moderated the negative impact. Discussion: the findings were consistent with prior studies linking bullying to psychosocial withdrawal, and extended the understanding of how these dynamics manifest in physical education settings. Conclusions: the study concludes that cyberbullying has far-reaching consequences on students’ physical and emotional engagement in pe. it is essential to implement interventions that strengthen body image and peer support to mitigate the adverse effects of victimization. Introducción: el estudio abordó la creciente preocupación por el ciberacoso entre estudiantes escolares y su impacto en los resultados de la educación física, una relación que aún está poco explorada en la literatura. el tema es especialmente relevante debido al creciente uso digital entre los adolescentes y las demandas psicosociales que implica el entorno de la educación física.  Objetivo: el objetivo fue examinar la influencia de la victimización por ciberacoso en la participación, el rendimiento, la motivación y las actitudes en educación física, así como analizar el papel mediador de la percepción de la imagen corporal y el papel moderador del apoyo entre pares.  Metodología: se empleó un diseño cuantitativo y transversal mediante un cuestionario estructurado administrado a 150 estudiantes de secundaria. los análisis estadísticos incluyeron regresión lineal, correlación de pearson, y modelos de mediación y moderación.  Resultados: los resultados mostraron que la victimización por ciberacoso redujo significativamente la participación, el rendimiento y la motivación de los estudiantes en educación física. se encontró que la imagen corporal medió esta relación, mientras que el apoyo entre pares moderó el impacto negativo. Discusión: los hallazgos fueron coherentes con estudios previos que vinculan el acoso con el retraimiento psicosocial, y ampliaron la comprensión sobre cómo estas dinámicas se manifiestan en contextos de educación física.  Conclusiones: el estudio concluye que el ciberacoso tiene consecuencias profundas en el compromiso físico y emocional de los estudiantes en educación física. es esencial implementar intervenciones que fortalezcan la imagen corporal y el apoyo entre pares para mitigar los efectos adversos de la victimización. Objectivo: o objectivo foi examinar a influência da vitimização por ciberacoso na participação, o desempenho, a motivação e as acções na educação física, bem como analisar o papel mediador da percepção da imagem corporal e o papel moderador do apoio entre pares. Metodologia: foi implementado um desenho quantitativo e transversal através de um questionário estruturado administrado a 150 alunos do ensino secundário. As análises estadísticas incluem a regressão linear, a correlação de Pearson e os modelos de mediação e moderação. Resultados: os resultados mostram que a vitimização por ciberacoso reduziu significativamente a participação, o rendimento e a motivação dos estudantes em educação física. se verificar que a imagem corporal mediu esta relação, enquanto o apoio entre pares moderou o impacto negativo. Discussão: os hallazgos fueron coerentes com estudos anteriores que ligam a relação com o retraimento psicossocial, e alargam a compreensão sobre como estas dinâmicas se manifestam em contextos de educação física. Conclusões: o estudo concluiu que o ciberacoso tem consequências profundas no comprometimento físico e emocional dos estudantes de educação física. É essencial implementar intervenções que reforcem a imagem corporal e o apoio entre pares para mitigar os efeitos adversos da vitimização.
Exploring the effects of an immersive training system on performance monitoring in basketball players
This study evaluates the effectiveness of an immersive training system using virtual reality (VR) on basketball performance metrics among physical culture students. The use of VR in sports training has gained attention for its potential to enhance both physical skills and cognitive functions. Objective: The objective was to compare the effects of immersive VR training against traditional training methods on shooting accuracy, reaction times, and cognitive load. Sixty university students were divided into control and experimental groups, participating in respective training regimes. Methodology: the study employed a VR setup to conduct the training sessions, and quantitative data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA. This analysis revealed significant improvements in shooting accuracy and reaction times in the VR-trained group, with p-values well below 0.05. Results: The results, however, indicated no significant differences in cognitive load between the groups. These outcomes suggest that while VR can enhance certain physical skills, its impact on cognitive aspects of performance is not clearly established. Discussion: The discussion highlights that, compared to previous studies, this research confirms the benefits of VR in physical training but raises questions about its cognitive effects, which have been inconsistent across different studies. Conclusions: This study confirms VR's effectiveness in enhancing specific athletic skills and underscores the need for further research into its cognitive impacts. The findings advocate for incorporating VR technologies into sports training programs, highlighting the importance of continuous innovation and comprehensive evaluation in diverse training environments.
Explorando los efectos de un sistema de entrenamiento inmersivo en el monitoreo del rendimiento de jugadores de baloncesto

Forecasting sports-related injuries using wearable devices and data analysis methods
This study investigates the effectiveness of wearable technology in predicting injury rates among athletes, focusing on both micro and severe injuries. Over a 20-week period, 80 physical culture students were divided into an experimental group, using wearable devices for real-time data monitoring, and a control group employing traditional training methods. The study utilized a range of wearable sensors to collect comprehensive physiological and biomechanical data, which was analyzed using custom Python-based tools. Results indicated a significant reduction in micro injuries within the experimental group, affirming the hypothesis that wearable technology can decrease injury incidence through personalized training adjustments. However, the impact on severe injuries was not statistically significant, highlighting the technology's limitations in predicting and preventing acute injuries. This research underscores the potential of wearable devices to enhance athlete safety through data-driven insights but also points to the need for further studies to fully understand and leverage technology in preventing more serious injuries. The findings have important implications for sports science, suggesting a paradigm shift towards more technologically integrated training regimes to optimize health outcomes and performance in athletic populations.
