THE INFLUENCE OF DECISIONS ON INCREASING SOCIAL STANDARDS ON MONETARY POLICY
2021
Raising social standards is an essential instrument of social policy by the state. However, the decision to raise the minimum wage rather sharply should consider its impact on fiscal and monetary policy. The article aims to study how government decisions on social standards (in particular minimum wages) can influence monetary policy decisions based on inflation targeting. Results of the research. The method of analysis of indicators and consequences of the introduction of inflation targeting in Ukraine, geographical neighbors and countries with similar economies is described. It is determined that the final effect of changes in social standards on inflation depends on the entire transmission mechanism, which includes several interrelated reactions, and maybe stretched over time, depending on both the speed of transmission of the impulse and the specifics of institutional regulation. It is established that the criterion for a dramatic increase in the minimum wage is a significant upward shift of the minimum wage to the average wage ratio curve. In this case, as we have shown, inflation expectations worsen, which modifies somewhat the behaviour of economic agents and is transferred to current inflation rates in the future. Raising social standards is a good decision of the government in order to maintain household incomes. However, to ensure the neutrality of such a decision for fiscal and monetary policy, it needs to be aligned with its objectives and strategies. 2024
The study examines the digital inclusion of the tourism industry amidst global smartization. This study is especially relevant given the transformative impact of smartization on economic systems and business models. The article aims to develop a criterion-based, three-dimensional framework for integrating digital technologies into the tourism industry under these conditions.
The study employs a multi-dimensional methodology, integrating correlation-regression analysis, econometric modeling, and a criterion-based format to evaluate the digital inclusion of tourism businesses. Data from global tourism reports and smartization indicators are used to analyze patterns of digital transformation.
Key findings include the determination of income from online bookings, the share of online travel companies’ income by market segments, and the dynamics of digital technology integration in the global tourism industry. Smart systems, such as AI-driven platforms and big data analytics, are identified as key drivers of efficiency, enhanced customer experiences, and economic resilience. The study categorizes countries based on their levels of digital inclusion, highlighting disparities between developed and developing regions.
Digital transformation is substantiated to reshape the tourism industry, contributing to global economic recovery and sustainable development. Smart technology integration fosters innovation, reduces operational costs, and enhances service quality. The research provides actionable insights for achieving long-term economic and environmental benefits in the global tourism sector.

Introduction. Almost thirty years in the modern history of Ukraine were marked by modest economic and social outcomes. Extremely low rates of economic growth, price and exchange rate instability, technological backwardness of the majority of domestic enterprises, their mass closing, degradation of production and social infrastructure, as well as human capital, low incomes of the vast majority of the population and their significant differentiation, deformations in the work of democratic mechanisms led to the need to revise the existing paradigm of socio-economic development. The purpose of the research is to study the theoretical and practical features of forming and functioning of national model of resource economics.Results. The main methodological approaches for assessing the nature and features of the functioning of the domestic economy are outlined. It is determined that Ukrainian export and GDP are highly dependent on the production and export of hard and soft resources, with the latter replacing the former. We can conclude that there is a long-term trend in the structure of commodity export to the replacement of hard resources export by the export of soft resources, and the calculated correlation coefficient is 0.95. There have been positive trends towards a gradual increase in the gross production of grain, including through the increased productivity of production and labour, which will facilitate medium-term economic growth.Conclusions. The creation of a modern model of competitive economics can help to catch up the level of social and economic development of the leading countries of the world. However, in the medium term, the reform of the national economic model with minimal transformation costs is possible only under the conditions of further development, primarily, of agrarian production, which will act as a medium-term development driver and at the same time will ensure certain macroeconomic stability.

Selections have been derived from an interspecific hybrid between hexaploid bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety NI 5439 and the tetraploid wheat T. timopheevi. The F1 was backcrossed to the bread wheat parent and was followed by seven generations of selfing. The selections exhibit a high level of field resistance at adult plant stage to leaf rust (Puccinia recondita) and seedling resistance to 11 Indian leaf rust virulences. These selections will be a valuable source of leaf rust resistance.
