Recurrence quantification analysis is a widely used method for characterizing patterns in time series. This article presents a comprehensive survey for conducting a wide range of recurrence-based analyses to quantify the dynamical structure of single and multivariate time series, and to capture coupling properties underlying leader-follower relationships. The basics of recurrence quantification analysis (RQA) and all its variants are formally introduced step-by-step from the simplest auto-recurrence to the most advanced multivariate case. Importantly, we show how such RQA methods can be deployed under a single computational framework in R using a substantially renewed version our crqa 2.0 package. This package includes implementations of several recent advances in recurrence-based analysis, among them applications to multivariate data, and improved entropy calculations for categorical data. We show concrete applications of our package to example data, together with a detailed description of its functions and some guidelines on their usage.
The crown comes down
\"Arthur joins forces with his new ally Dolphin, his loyal frenemy Vulko and the love of his life, Mera, to rally the underworld of Atlantis and end the reign of the nefarious King Rath! But even as Rath doubles his efforts to destroy \"the Aquaman,\" dangerous new enemies begin to emerge from unexpected places...some vying for the throne themselves! The critically acclaimed creative team of Dan Abnett (Annihilation) and Stjepan Sejic (Sunstone, Death Vigil) continue remaking the mythology of Aquaman's world in this new saga mixing science fiction, fantasy and superheroics.\"-- Provided by publisher.

2018
David Haller is no ordinary mutant. Son of Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men, David's incredible mental powers fractured his mind and now, each of his personalities controls a different ability! And they're not all friendly, as Xavier and the New Mutants find out the hard way! But as Legion struggles to control the chaos in his head, he attracts the attention of one of Xavier's oldest and most malevolent foes: Amahl Farouk, the Shadow King, who's secretly been stalking and manipulating the X-Men and their allies. When the Shadow King sinks his hooks deep into David's mind, will two teams of X-Men be enough to defeat him -- or will David be the key to the villain's ultimate victory? Includes the Muir Island Saga storyline.
