Wirtschaftskrisen in Deutschland und China
by
Rui Li
2016
Business trends in the digital era : evolution of theories and applications
This book introduces 10 mega business trends, ranging from big data to the O2O model. By mining and analyzing mountains of data, the author identifies these 10 emerging trends and goes to great lengths to explain and support his views with up-to-date cases. By incorporating the latest developments, this book allows readers to keep abreast of rapidly advancing digital technologies and business models. In this time of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, acquiring deep insights into business trends and grasping opportunities for innovation give readers (business executives in particular) and their companies a competitive advantage and the potential to become the next success story. The Chinese version of the book has become a hit, with some business schools using it as a textbook for their S & T Innovation and Business Trends programs. It also provides business executives with a practical guide for their investment and operation decisions.
Microwave bandpass filters for wideband communications

2012
This book will appeal to scientists and engineers who are concerned with the design of microwave wideband devices and systems. For advanced (ultra)-wideband wireless systems, the necessity and design methodology of wideband filters will be discussed with reference to the inherent limitation in fractional bandwidth of classical bandpass filters.
Transporters, an important but poorly studied area of Toxoplasma gondii
2026
Membrane transporters play a vital role in the obligate intracellular parasite
Toxoplasma gondii
, mediating the acquisition of nutrients from host cells, the regulation of ion gradients, and the maintenance of metabolic homeostasis. Despite their central importance for parasite survival, pathogenesis, and drug resistance, the majority of
T. gondii
transporters remain poorly characterized. Key unresolved questions include the mechanisms underlying purine nucleotide transport across the plasma membrane and the import/export of metabolites for core pathways in the apicoplast (e.g., thiamine, isopentenyl diphosphate[IPP]/dimethylallyl diphosphate [DMAPP], and coproporphyrinogen III) and mitochondria (e.g., amino acids and cofactors). Recent advances in bioinformatics and CRISPR-based phenotypic screening have enabled systematic identification of transporter candidates. This review summarizes current knowledge of
T. gondii
transporters localized to the plasma membrane, apicoplast, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus, highlighting their roles in nutrient acquisition, metabolic crosstalk, and organellar function. Furthermore, we propose a screening strategy integrating transmembrane domain prediction, CRISPR phenotyping, and hyperLOPIT-based protein localization to prioritize uncharacterized transporters for functional study. These insights underscore the potential of transporters as therapeutic targets and provide a roadmap for future research into the physiology of
T. gondii
.

The Institutional Dynamics of China's Great Transformation
2011,2010
This book examines the role of institutions in China’s recent large-scale economic, social and political transformation. The book argues that, although the importance of institutions in China’s rapid economic growth and social development over the past 30 years is widely acknowledged, exactly how institutions affect changes in particular national and historical settings is less well understood. Unlike existing literature, it offers perspectives from a variety of disciplines - including law, economics, politics, international relations and communication studies – to consider whether institutions form, evolve and change differently according to their historical or cultural environments and if their utilitarian functions can, and should be, observed, identified and measured in different ways.
The book discusses China’s political and legal institutions; the international institutions with which China engages; institutions promoting science and technology; media companies; and local institutions including the household registration system. It also examines how institutions themselves have been formed, changed and re-formed over recent decades, and suggests theoretical and methodological adjustments in institutional analysis to allow a fuller understanding of the institutional dynamics of China’s transformation.
