Improved properties of PTFE composites filled with glass fiber modified by sol–gel method
PTFE/GF(glass fiber) composites are widely applied in high-frequency printed circuit board (PCB) substrate materials due to the excellent dielectric properties of PTFE and the low thermal expansion coefficient of GF. However, the poor interface compatibility between PTFE and GF affects the performance of the composite substrates. In this study, tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) was used as the silicon source, and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) was the organic precursor to modify the surface of GF through the sol–gel method to promote the interface compatibility of GF and PTFE. The modified GF noted T-GF was filled in PTFE to prepare PTFE/T-GF composites. SEM, FTIR, XPS, and contact angle confirmed that organic–inorganic hybrids were successfully loaded on GF's surface. Moreover, compared with PTFE/GF and the conventional coupling agent modified GF filled PTFE composites, the PTFE/T-GF exhibited improved dielectric constant (2.305), decreased dielectric loss (9.08E −4 ), higher bending strength (21.45 MPa) and bending modulus (522 MPa), better thermal conductivity (0.268 W/m*K) and lower CTE (70 ppm/°C), making it has promising application as the substrate materials for high frequency PCB.
The Generation of High-Resolution Mapping Products for the Lunar South Pole Using Photogrammetry and Photoclinometry
High-resolution and high-accuracy mapping products of the Lunar South Pole (LSP) will play a vital role in future lunar exploration missions. Existing lunar global mapping products cannot meet the needs of engineering tasks, such as landing site selection and rover trajectory planning, at the LSP. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO)’s narrow-angle camera (NAC) can acquire submeter images and has returned a large amount of data covering the LSP. In this study, we combine stereo-photogrammetry and photoclinometry to generate high-resolution digital orthophoto maps (DOMs) and digital elevation models (DEMs) using LRO NAC images for a candidate landing site at the LSP. The special illumination and landscape characteristics of the LSP make the derivation of high-accuracy mapping products from orbiter images extremely difficult. We proposed an easy-to-implement shadow recognition and contrast stretching method based on the histograms of the LRO NAC images, which is beneficial for photogrammetric and photoclinometry processing. In order to automatically generate tie points, we designed an image matching method considering LRO NAC images’ features of long strips and large data volumes. The terrain and smoothness constraints were introduced into the cost function of photoclinometry adjustment, excluding pixels in shadow areas. We used 61 LRO NAC images to generate mapping products covering an area of 400 km2. The spatial resolution of the generated DOMs was 1 m/pixel, and the grid spacing of the derived DEMs was 1 m (close to the spatial resolution of the original images). The generated DOMs achieved a relative accuracy of better than 1 pixel. The geometric accuracy of the DEM derived from photoclinometry was consistent with the lunar orbiter laser altimeter (LOLA) DEM with a root mean square error of 0.97 m and an average error of 0.17 m.
Long non-coding RNA FENDRR inhibits cell proliferation and is associated with good prognosis in breast cancer
FENDRR is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that mediates the modification of the epigenetic landscape of target promoters by binding to polycomb repressive complex 2. However, the role of FENDRR in breast cancer remains unknown. We detected the expression of FENDRR in 52 breast cancer patients' tissues and five breast cancer cell lines. The association between FENDRR expression and clinicopathological features and prognosis of breast cancer patients was also analyzed. Moreover, cell proliferation assays, flow cytometry analysis, wound-healing assays, and transwell migration assays were performed to detect the biological effects of FENDRR in the breast cancer cells. A xenograft model was used to explore the role of FENDRR expression on tumor growth. We found that FENDRR expression was lower in breast cancer cell lines and cancerous tissues than in the adjacent normal tissues. Low expression of FENDRR was associated with a shorter overall survival and a shorter progression-free survival in breast cancer patients ( <0.001, <0.001, respectively). We found that FENDRR inhibits breast cancer cell proliferation and migration and promotes cell apoptosis, while FENDRR knockdown promotes breast cancer cell proliferation and migration and suppresses cell apoptosis. Finally, we also detected that FENDRR overexpression could inhibit tumor growth in a xenograft model. Our data suggested that FENDRR inhibits breast cancer cell proliferation, promotes cell apoptosis, and is associated with good prognosis in breast cancer. Thus, FENDRR plays an important role in the growth and progression of breast cancer.
Methods for the Construction and Editing of an Efficient Control Network for the Photogrammetric Processing of Massive Planetary Remote Sensing Images
Planetary photogrammetry remains an important technical means of producing high-precision planetary maps. High-quality control networks are fundamental to successful bundle adjustment. However, current software tools used by the planetary mapping community to construct and edit control networks exhibit very low efficiency. Moreover, redundant and invalid control points in the control network can further increase the time required for the bundle adjustment process. Due to a lack of targeted algorithm optimization, existing software tools and methods are unable to meet the photogrammetric processing requirements of massive planetary remote sensing images. To address these issues, we first proposed an efficient control network construction framework based on approximate orthoimage matching and hash quick search. Next, to effectively reduce the redundant control points in the control network and decrease the computation time required for bundle adjustment, we then proposed a control network-thinning algorithm based on a K-D tree fast search. Finally, we developed an automatic detection method based on ray tracing for identifying invalid control points in the control network. To validate the proposed methods, we conducted photogrammetric processing experiments using both the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) narrow-angle camera (NAC) images and the Origins Spectral Interpretation Resource Identification Security Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) PolyCam images; we then compared the results with those derived from the famous open-source planetary photogrammetric software, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers (ISIS) version 8.0.0. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed methods significantly improve the efficiency and quality of constructing control networks for large-scale planetary images. For thousands of planetary images, we were able to speed up the generation and editing of the control network by more than two orders of magnitude.
Clinical effect of hepatic artery interventional embolization and chemotherapy and its influence on P16 protein expression in patients with liver cancer
Objective To investigate clinical effects of hepatic artery interventional embolization chemotherapy (TACE) for primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC). Methods 73 patients with PHC in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected and divided into 37 cases in study group and 36 cases in control group by random number table method. The control group received only ultrasound-guided microwave ablation treatment, and the study group received TACE treatment again before surgery based on control group. The expression levels of cancer antigen 125 (CA125), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), multiple tumor suppressors 1 (P16) proteins, and cancer antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) were compared between the two groups at different time periods after treatment, and the remission rate (ORR), control rate (DCR), complication rate at 3 months after treatment and survival rate at 3 years after treatment were compared. Results After 1 year of treatment, ORR, DCR, and P16 protein levels in the study group were higher than those in the control group ( P  < 0.05), and differences were statistically significant; CA125, CA19-9, and AFP levels in study group were lower than those in the control group ( P  < 0.05), and differences were statistically significant. The regression equation showed that long-term survival rate of both groups showed decreasing trend over time, while long-term survival rate of study group was always higher than that of the control group. Conclusion Comprehensive intervention for hepatic artery interventional chemoembolization in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma is more effective, which can effectively reduce incidence of complications and adverse effects in patients and help shorten treatment time of hepatic artery interventional chemoembolization in patients.
LOLA DEM Assisted Photogrammetric Processing of Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter NAC Images for the Lunar South Pole
Because of its special significance, exploration missions and research at the Lunar South Pole (LSP) are of considerable importance. The mapping products of the LSP such as Digital Ortho Maps (DOMs) and Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) are essential to support exploration missions. However, in the LSP region, the available data are relatively limited. The large amounts of shadows and the special environment of the LSP has an important impact on both image matching and generation of mapping products. In this paper, we propose a photogrammetric processing method to improve the accuracy of the LRO NAC images by using LOLA DEM as auxiliary control data. The LOLA DEM was first rendered using the same illumination conditions as the corresponding LRO NAC raw images, and then matched to the LRO NAC DOMs. Next, the corresponding elevations of the tie points between LOLA DEMs and LRO NAC images were extracted and automatically added to the control network for bundle adjustment. In order to verify the feasibility of the method, we selected 17 LRO NAC images near the LSP at 85° south latitude. The results show that the proposed method can efficiently acquire uniformly distributed elevation control points for bundle adjustment and the generated DEM has a good consistency with the LOLA DEM.
A bis-(rhodamine)-based off–on colorimetric and fluorescent probe for Fe3+ ion detection in serum and bioimaging
AbstractAn off–on colorimetric and fluorescent probe N1, N4-bis (2-(3′, 6′-bis(diethylamino)-3-oxospiro[isoindoline-1,9′-xanthen]-2-yl) ethyl) terephthalamide (Rp) for Fe3+ was designed and synthesized, which could selectively and sensitively respond to Fe3+ among other tested metal cations in THF–H2O solution (v/v = 4/6, pH = 7.2) accompanied with a remarkable fluorescence enhancement and an obvious color change visible to “naked-eye”. The fluorescence intensity of the probe Rp showed a good linearity with the concentration of Fe3+ covering from 0.1 to 26 μM and the detection limit was 0.0231 μM. Meanwhile, the binding mode between Rp and Fe3+ was found to be a 1:2 stoichiometric formation. Moreover, the complexation of Rp–Fe3+ could be broken by carbonate, so this system might be utilized as a carbonate probe in the future. Most importantly, the probe Rp was not only applied to monitor Fe3+ level in human blood serum and water samples, but also was used for fluorescence imaging of Fe3+ in living cell.Graphical abstract
The Antitumor Effects of CIK Cells Combined with Docetaxel Against Drug-Resistant Lung Adenocarcinoma Cell Line SPC-A1/DTX in Vitro and in Vivo
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effects of cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells combined with docetaxel (DTX) on the growth of drug-resistant lung adenocarcinoma cell line SPC-A1/DTX in vitro and in vivo. Methods: The MTT assay was employed to evaluate the cytotoxic activity of DTX, CIK cells, and DTX plused CIK cells against SPC-A1/DTX cells in vitro. For the in vivo assay, SPC-A1/DTX cells were injected into nude mice subcutaneously to establish a tumor-bearing mice model. On the day 14, normal saline, docetaxel, CIK cells, and CIK cells combined with docetaxel were administered intraperitoneally, respectively. All the nude mice were sacrificed at day 15 after treatment and the tumors were weighed out. Results: The MTT assay showed that CIK cells possessed a higher antitumor cytotoxic activity against SPC-A1/DTX cells than SPC-A1 cells in vitro (p < 0.05). The synergetic antitumor activity positively correlated with the E:T ratio and the concertration of docetaxel. The animal data also suggested that CIK cells combined with DTX had a stronger suppressive effect on tumor growth in vivo. Conclusion: CIK cells plused with docetaxel demonstrated a prominent augmentation of antitumor activity against multidrug resistance lung adenocarcinoma cell lines both in vitro and in vivo.
Neck/shoulder pain and low back pain among school teachers in China, prevalence and risk factors
Background School teachers represent an occupational group among which there appears to be a high prevalence of neck and/or shoulder pain (NSP) and low back pain (LBP). Epidemiological data on NSP and LBP in Chinese teachers are limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of and risk factors for NSP and LBP among primary, secondary and high school teachers. Methods In a cross-sectional study of teachers from 7 schools, information on participant demographics, work characteristics, occupational factors and musculoskeletal symptoms and pain were collected. Results Among 893 teachers, the prevalence of NSP and LBP was 48.7% and 45.6% respectively. There was significant association between the level and prevalence of NSP and LBP among teachers in different schools. The prevalence of NSP among female teachers was much higher than that for males. Self-reported NSP was associated with physical exercise (OR 0.55, 95% CI 0.35 to 0.86), prolonged standing (1.74, 1.03 to 2.95), sitting (1.76, 1.23 to 2.52) and static posture (2.25, 1.56 to 3.24), and uncomfortable back support (1.77, 1.23 to 2.55). LBP was more consistently associated with twisting posture (1.93, 1.30 to 2.87), uncomfortable back support (1.62, 1.13 to 2.32) and prolonged sitting (1.42, 1.00 to 2.02) and static posture (1.60, 1.11 to 2.31). Conclusions NSP and LBP are common among teachers. There were strong associations with different individual, ergonomic, and occupational factors.
