In this paper, we present Emotion-Aware Music Driven Movie Montage, a novel paradigm for the challenging task of generating movie montages. Specifically, given a movie and a piece of music as the guidance, our method aims to generate a montage out of the movie that is emotionally consistent with the music. Unlike previous work such as video summarization, this task requires not only video content understanding, but also emotion analysis of both the input movie and music. To this end, we propose a two-stage framework, including a learning-based module for the prediction of emotion similarity and an optimization-based module for the selection and composition of candidate movie shots. The core of our method is to align and estimate emotional similarity between music clips and movie shots in a multi-modal latent space via contrastive learning. Subsequently, the montage generation is modeled as a joint optimization of emotion similarity and additional constraints such as scene-level story completeness and shot-level rhythm synchronization. We conduct both qualitative and quantitative evaluations to demonstrate that our method can generate emotionally consistent montages and outperforms alternative baselines.

MicroRNA let-7a: a novel therapeutic candidate in prostate cancer

It is known that microRNA let-7a can be useful for diagnosis and therapy of cancer, including prostate cancer (PCa).1 A recent article by Wang et al. 2 comprehensively showed that let-7al could inhibit the expression of insulin-like growth factor- 1 receptor (IGF 1 R) by directly targeting the T1 and T2 sites in the 3' untranslated region (3'UTR) of IGF 1R mRNA. Furthermore, they found that let-7a 1-mediated IGF I R downregulation was accompanied by attenuation of Elk1 activity and c-fos expression, inhibition of PC-3 cell proliferation, cell cycle arrest and induced apoptosis and that inhibition oflet-7al could up-regulate IGF 1R accompanied by an increase of Elk1 activity and c-fos expression,

Protective effects of Dendrobium nobile Lindl. alkaloids on amyloid beta(25-35)-induced neuronal injury
Dendrobium nobile Lindl.alkaloids(DNLA),the active ingredients of a traditional Chinese medicine Dendrobium,have been shown to have anti-oxidative effects,anti-inflammatory action,and protective effect on neurons against oxygen-glucose deprivation.However,it is not clear whether DNLA reduces amyloid-beta(Aβ)-induced neuronal injury.In this study,cortical neurons were treated with DNLA at different concentrations(0.025,0.25,and 2.5 mg/L)for 24 hours,followed by administration of Aβ(25-35)(10μM).Aβ(25-35) treatments increased cell injury as determined by the leakage of lactate dehydrogenase,which was accompanied by chromatin condensation and mitochondrial tumefaction.The damage caused by Aβ(25-35) on these cellular properties was markedly attenuated when cells were pretreated with DNLA.Treatment with Aβ(25-35)down-regulated the expressions of postsynaptic density-95 mRNA and decreased the protein expression of synaptophysin and postsynaptic density-95,all changes were significantly reduced by pretreatment of cells with DNLA.These findings suggest that DNLA reduces the cytotoxicity induced by Aβ(25-35) in rat primary cultured neurons.The protective mechanism that DNLA confers on the synaptic integrity of cultured neurons might be mediated,at least in part,through the upregulation of neurogenesis related proteins synaptophysin and postsynaptic density-95.

Indoor Screening of Bactericides against Kiwifruit Bacterial Canker

[ Objective ] The paper was to screen the effective agents against kiwifruit bacterial canker in Wanzhou District of China. [ Method ] Ten kinds of com- mon commercial bactericides preliminarily screened were selected for indoor antibacterial test using paper plate method and plate streaking method, and six kinds of bactericides with good antibacterial effects were further screened for indoor toxicity test. [ Result] Chloramphenicoloethylicin had the best antibacterial effect, with EC50 of 36.34 rag/L; followed by Xintianxlucai No. 6 and embamycin, with EC50 of 83.21 and 92.34 mg/L, respectively. [ Conclusion] Cldoramphenicoloethylicin, Xintianxiucai No. 6 and embamycin screened in the test had good antibacterial effect against kiwifruit bacteriai canker in Wanzhou District, and chlorampheni- coleethylicin was the most effective agent. These three agents could be directly applied to control kiwifruit bacterial canker in production, while application time and climate conditions in fields should also be considered during the actual application process. It is suggested that three agents can be used alternatively in order to de- lay the resistance of plants.

降低日粮粗蛋白水平对断奶仔猪营养感受体基因(氨基酸转运载体)表达的影响(英文)
目的:验证日粮中粗蛋白质浓度对断奶仔猪氨基酸转运载体的影响效应。创新点:从营养物质感应体的角度分析采用低氮日粮的可行性,并探索营养限制对营养转运体的影响及它们间的相互作用。方法:十八头初始体重9.57公斤的断奶仔猪被随机分为三组(每组6个重复),分别饲喂含有14%、17%和20%的粗蛋白日粮45天。按照理想蛋白质模型,日粮分别添加赖氨酸、蛋氨酸+半胱氨酸、苏氨酸和色氨酸来满足断奶仔猪的需要,整个试验期自由采食。试验结束后,屠宰仔猪并采集小肠样品。与14%粗蛋白组相比,空肠中ASCT2、4F2hc和ATB0 m RNA表达在17%和20%粗蛋白水平组分别上升23.00%、12.00%、6.00%和48.00%、47.00%、56.00%。结论:结果表明,14%粗蛋白水平组外源添加合成氨基酸并不能促进氨基酸转运载体增加氨基酸的吸收来满足断奶仔猪的生长性能。然而,17%粗蛋白水平组可以减少氮排放到环境中,同时又能满足此阶段断奶仔猪的生长发育。因此,17%粗蛋白水平组对这个阶段断奶仔猪最合适。

Discovery and implications of catenary-bead subaqueous dunes

Measurements of topography at the segment of bifurcation between the South Channel and North Channel in the Yangtze Estuary were conducted, and a new type of subaqueous dune was discovered. This structure, newly defined as a catenary-bead dune, consists of a catenary dune and its associated elliptical pit bedform. Based on this finding, the nomenclature of "morphology of dune associated with accompanying bedform" is first proposed. The measured data indicate a mean height and wavelength of 1.29 m and 31.89 m, respectively; wavelength/height ratio(L/H) of 14 to 56; and elliptical pits of mean and maximum depth 0.98 m and 1.98 m, respectively. Flow information was obtained using an Acoustic Doppler Current Profile(ADCP), and the bed material components were gathered with a bottom sampler. The results show mean flood and ebb velocities of 0.27 and 0.78 m s?1, respectively, with shorter duration of flood tide than ebb tide. The silt, very fine sand, and fine sand fractions were within the ranges 21.6–23.4%, 28.2–32.2%, and 39.7–41.6%, respectively, revealing complex bed material composition. Water depth at the study site varies from 13 to 17 m. This finding will enrich the study of dunes and provide important data for geomorphological research. Moreover, the results are significant for engineering applications to estuaries.

Construction and Preliminary Detection Method for Swine Virus Application of RT-LAMP Japanese B Encephalitis

[ Objective] This study aimed to establish a rapid, sensitive and specific method using reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) technology to detect swine Japanese B encephalitis virus (JEV). [ Method ] Four specific LAMP primers were designed according to six loci the conservative region of JEV E gene sequence. Positive JEV RNA sample was used as a template for one-step amplification, and the reaction conditions and reaction system were optimized. [ Result] Experimental results showed that the established method had high sensitivity, with the detection limit of 0.5pg; specificity experi- ments indicated that the method had high specificity and there was no amplification reaction for other viral pathogens. The coincidence rate between detection results of RT-LAMP and RT-Nested-PCR was 90.9%. After RT-LAMP reaction, a chemiluminescent agent was added for visual observation, which greatly reduced the detection time. This method required no special equipment but only a water bath, which was a simple, sensitive and rapid detection method for swine Japanese B encephalitis virus and could be applied in primary laboratories. [ Conclusion] An RT-LAMP detection method for swine Japanese B encephalitis virus was successfully established and preliminarily applied in clinical practice.

AMPK agonist alleviate renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis via activating mitophagy in high fat and streptozotocin induced diabetic mice

Renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis was a crucial pathological feature of diabetic nephropathy (DN), and renal tubular injury might associate with abnormal mitophagy. In this study, we investigated the effects and molecular mechanisms of AMPK agonist metformin on mitophagy and cellular injury in renal tubular cell under diabetic condition. The high fat diet (HFD) and streptozotocin (STZ)-induced type 2 diabetic mice model and HK-2 cells were used in this study. Metformin was administered in the drinking water (200 mg/kg/d) for 24 weeks. Renal tubulointerstitial lesions, oxidative stress and some indicators of mitophagy (e.g., LC3II, Pink1, and Parkin) were examined both in renal tissue and HK-2 cells. Additionally, compound C (an AMPK inhibitor) and Pink1 siRNA were applied to explore the molecular regulation mechanism of metformin on mitophagy. We found that the expression of p-AMPK, Pink1, Parkin, LC3II, and Atg5 in renal tissue of diabetic mice was decreased obviously. Metformin reduced the levels of serum creatinine, urine protein, and attenuated renal oxidative injury and fibrosis in HFD/STZ induced diabetic mice. In addition, Metformin reversed mitophagy dysfunction and the over-expression of NLRP3. In vitro pretreatment of HK-2 cells with AMPK inhibitor compound C or Pink1 siRNA negated the beneficial effects of metformin. Furthermore, we noted that metformin activated p-AMPK and promoted the translocation of Pink1 from the cytoplasm to mitochondria, then promoted the occurrence of mitophagy in HK-2 cells under HG/HFA ambience. Our results suggested for the first time that AMPK agonist metformin ameliorated renal oxidative stress and tubulointerstitial fibrosis in HFD/STZ-induced diabetic mice via activating mitophagy through a p-AMPK-Pink1-Parkin pathway.

A low power 8T global shutter pixel with extended FD voltage swing range is proposed for large format high speed CMOS image sensor. The pixel has a negative threshold reset transistor, two in-pixel source followers, and a sample-and-hold circuit. The in-pixel first source follower is employed for reducing the pixel average current and maximum transient current. The negative threshold reset transistor is applied to extend the voltage swing of FD. Using pixel level sample-and-hold circuit, the kTC noise on FD node can be effectively nullified by correlated double sampling operation. A high speed 1000 fps 256 ×256 CMOS image sensor is implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS process. Two 10-bit cyclic ADC arrays are integrated in this prototype sensor chip. The active area of the chip is 10 mm~ 7 mm with a pixel size of 14μm×14 μm. The developed sensor achieves an average current of 23 nA per pixel, a maximum transit current per pixel as low as 1113 hA, and a large FD voltage swing of 1.78 V. The sensor temporal noise level is 103 e- and full well capacity has 27000 e- which results in 48.3 dB signal dynamic range.
