Mycobacterium marinum causes a rare, slow-progressing zoonotic infection without distinctive clinical features. History of aquatic exposure increases clinical suspicion. We present a case of disseminated M. marinum infection which progressed from a localised cutaneous infection over 1.5 years. A delayed diagnosis, due in part to a low index of suspicion and underlying CD4 cytopenia, contributed to clinical deterioration. Despite numerous courses of antimicrobial therapy, the patient experienced treatment failure and ultimately succumbed to the disease. Notably, the patient had a longstanding history of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) consumption, which was later found to contain corticosteroids, contributing to immunosuppression. This case underscores the complexities of diagnosing and managing M. marinum infection in immunocompromised individuals and highlights the importance of thorough medication history-taking, including the use of TCM. Greater awareness of TCM pharmacovigilance is also crucial in preventing inadvertent harm.

Numerical Simulation Study on Combustion Flame Performances of a Diffusion Burner
2025
ANSYS-Fluent was applied to simulate diffusion combustion flame in a two-dimensional (2D) industrial burner to determine the contours of the mass fraction of gas emissions, velocity, and combustion temperature. The effects of the boundary conditions, including momentum, thermal, and species (inlet air, inlet fuel, and outlet pressure) on combustion temperature and mass fraction (gas emissions) were analyzed in the designed burner. The present study focused on using and analyzing the volumetric reaction and the turbulence-chemistry interaction of the eddy dissipation model for the diffusion flame model. The simulation used the discrete ordinate model and p1 for radiation and the k-ε model for turbulence with enhanced wall treatment. Based on the results, the magnitude velocities of air and fuel, inlet temperature, and mass fractions of oxygen and inert gas can influence the parameters of flame temperature and gas emissions in the industrial burner. The flame shape for all the cases of inlet velocity was predominantly symmetric about the x = 0 mm for all the axial distances towards the outlet. The radial velocity contour at 0.01 m/s (300 K) gave better results with an area of 1.31 m/s to 4.08 m/s, which was wider than that of the case at 0.01 m/s (700 K). By varying the inlet temperature and oxygen mass fraction, the flame configurations on temperature, CO2, and H2O formed a symmetric flame structure. The temperature distribution resulted in the centerline being hotter than other radial positions for all of the inlet temperatures. The emissions of CO2 and H2O generally increased with the addition of the oxygen mass fraction.

System of monitoring on carbon dioxide of broiler chicken growth in closed house
2021
The broiler is one of the chicken to be able to grow fast for producing meat in a relatively short time. In modern times broiler farms have entered the industrial scale. Poultry in this case broiler chickens breathe by inhaling oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide gas and water. In this case, if the oxygen content in the cage is too low, this condition is related to the temperature and humidity of the cage, it will affect the production and health of the chicken. This study aims to determine to find out the distribution of carbon dioxide in broiler farming in a closed house. Method, Equipment was used namely hardware and software specifications; the first, Laptop Creation of programs and real-time data retrieval is done using an Intel Core i3 - 2310M type laptop, 2 GB RAM memory and Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. The second, the Toolbox. power, driver, actuator. The three Closed House and Enclosure Support Devices measuring 1.8m x 1.3 m x 1m are made of boards, equipped with fans, lights, chickens, and sensors. The research support tools include: multimeters, cables, solder, lead, and lead suction. The fifth, MATLAB Software Th system designed is simulated with MATLAB software version 7.8.0.347 (R2009a) with Simulink facilities. The sixth is Code Vision AVR software for creating and coding programs. Code vision used is version 1.25.9. Chacha stream cipher implementation for network security in wireless sensor network
2019
In the 4.0 industrial revolution, technologies are designed to be able to connect to the internet. These technologies should be able to exchange data between them using sensors and others. One of the ways to send it is by the wireless sensor network. However, involving the internet in exchanging data needs security guarantees. Three things must meet in network security, that is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Cryptography use for the confidentiality of the information that will be sent by the user. In this research will be using the symmetric cryptography for network security on wireless sensor networks. In addition to network security, symmetric cryptography method will be used also consider energy efficiency on a wireless sensor network. Chacha stream cipher as symmetric cryptography will be used as a method of messages encryption. Experiments in this research used NS-3 as a network simulator. Results of the tests show that the purpose method has a computation time of 0.2385 ms and the second-fastest after the rabbit cryptographic process. Text editor application to automate the format of writing a final project based on java programs
2019
Final project is a prerequisite that must be taken by students to get a Bachelor or Master Degree. Final project contains the results of research made in a specific format as reporting the research process to the institution. Each institution has a standard format for the final project or thesis writing rules which are usually written in the instructions for writing a thesis. Institutions usually provide writing templates to follow, but because the templates only make a number of important parts and are still manual, the format of student writing often changes and is not uniform with other students or some are deviant and not in accordance with the standard written format. This study designed a text editor application to help students or researchers so that it was not too problematic in the writing format. This application is based on a graphical user interface, making it easier to operate. The rules in the program are made to automate the writing entered to produce written output in accordance with the format specified by the institution. With this system, student or researcher will be easier in writing the script according to the standard of writing and get a final project or thesis report in a uniform format.
