Background Institutional delivery has been considered one of the important strategies to improve maternal and child health and significantly reduce birth-related complications. However, it is still low in developing countries though there are some improvements. even among the community who has access to the health institutions weather health center and hospital including Somaliland. Hence, the aim of this study was to assess the level of institutional delivery service utilization and associated factors among women who gave birth in the last 12 months in Ga’an libah district, Marodijeh region, Somaliland. Methods The community-based cross-sectional study was conducted among women who gave birth in the last 12 months from September to December 2022. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select study participants from a total of sample population. Data was collected using semi-structural administered questionnaire through interviewing women. Data was collected with online mobile data collection (Kobo collect). SPSS version 25.0 was used for data management, entering and analysis. Bivariate and multivariable logistic regression models were fitted to determine the presence of a statistically significant association between independent variables and the outcome variable with p -value < 0.05. Result Level of Institutional delivery services utilization in Ga’an libah district was 53.9% [95% Cl 48.2–59.6] gave birth at health institutions. Women who can read and write local were (AOR 2.18, 95% CI 1.08–4.56, p <0.01), Women with their husband can be capable to read and write are [(AOR = 6.95, 95% Cl 2.82–21.58, p <0.002]). Additionally, ability to cost transportation for referral [AOR 5.21, 95% Cl 2.44–11.13, p <0.001]. not good services available [AOR 0.07, 95%Cl 0.01–0.10, p <0.02]. lack of maternal health and child knowledge [AOR 0.034, 95% Cl 0.02–0.57, p <0.01]. were observed associated with level of institutional deliver services utilization. Conclusion The institutional delivery service utilization was relatively high compared to national demographic health services in the study area. A large proportion of women gave both at home without a skilled attendant. Therefore, this finding has important policy implications since changes in the cost of the health service and perceived quality would mean changes in client satisfaction as well as their choice, as well emphasize to expectant women can receive medical advice and ambulance for referrals.
Application of The Nearest Neighbor Algorithm for Classification of Online Taxibike Sentiments In Indonesia In The Google Playstore Application
Google playstore is an official platform that provides applications to services, and not only that, user can perform assessments and reviews after using the Google playstore. One of the applications and services provided by Google playstore is online transportation. There's a couple of online transports available but at this time's research just scanned the official transport account of gojek and grab online. The data used in this study were application review data and service review data from the two online transportations which are processed using the K-Nearest Neighbor and Improved K-Nearest Neighbor algorithms by comparing the accuracy values. Relativistic magnetic flux quantum - a unique radiation carrier
The work found the shape of spectral lines of electromagnetic radiation produced by a relativistic quantum of magnetic flux moving in a Josephson transmission line under the action of a purely fluctuating external current and dissipation. It is shown that even in the case of a Gaussian noise current, the shape of the spectral lines of electromagnetic radiation has an essentially non-Gaussian form. The limited dispersion of the frequency of electromagnetic radiation (which is determined by the pinching of the spectral lines of radiation) is proved, due to the relativistic properties of the quantum magnetic flux. This is another unique aspect of the relativistic quantum magnetic flux - as a carrier of electromagnetic radiation in the Josephson transmission line.
Frequency dependence of magneto-optical phenomena in nonmagnetic dielectric nanostructures
The frequency dependences of the Faraday rotation angle and the ellipticity angle are studied taking into account light absorption in dielectric media. The extreme values of the above values are determined, as well as the field of their application in dielectric media.
Multi-stage knowledge distillation with layer fusion-based deep learning approach for skin cancer classification
Skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer globally, caused by prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV rays. Despite recent developments in research, early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, skin cancer remains a significant health concern. This study proposes a multi-stage knowledge distillation-based deep learning technique with a layer fusion strategy to classify different types of skin lesion cells using the HAM10000 dataset. Augmentation and basic preprocessing steps have been applied to the HAM10000 dataset to enhance robustness. The applied multi-stage knowledge distillation incorporates intermediate features by measuring several loss values and coefficients to balance the corresponding losses. The proposed ViT and ConvNeXT-integrated teacher model leverages hybrid architectures derived from baseline models, combining convolutional feature extraction with transformer-based attention mechanisms. The distilled model, built using CNN and EfficientNet, achieved significant performance improvements over the baseline. The optimized model achieved an accuracy of 95.88%, F1 and AUC scores of 95.91% and 99.02%, respectively. Multi-stage knowledge distillation with intermediate exits and layer fusion improved model accuracy and performance metrics with the lowest training and inference times of 61 and 15 ms/step, respectively. Post-training quantization was applied to reduce the parameters and size of the distilled model. Multiple XAI techniques—Grad-CAM, Score-CAM, and LIME—have been explored to enhance the interpretability of the applied multi-stage knowledge distillation model. The implementation codes with the quantized and distilled model are available in the following repository: https://github.com/codewith-pavel/Optimizations .
Influence of ferrochrome ash on mechanical and microstructure properties of ambient cured fly ash-based geopolymer concrete
Earlier studies indicated that the reactive MgO reduces shrinkage crack and porosity, and accelerates the hydration and strength development. Ferrochrome ash (FCA), a waste generated from ferrochrome industry, is a rich source of MgO apart from the aluminosilicate compositions and hence can fulfil the need for added reactive MgO. With this objective, several geopolymer mixes are prepared by varying mix proportions of FCA and FA from 20 to 80% in the source mix. The alkaline solutions of sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate were used to activate these sources. The effect of FCA on resulting geopolymer concrete mix is evaluated through workability, compressive strength, microstructural and mineralogical analysis. Based on these extensive studies it is observed that a mix containing FCA and FA in 60:40 ratio can be best suited for geopolymerization that resulted in the 28-day compressive strength of 29.3 MPa under ambient curing condition.
Linearity Performance and Distortion Analysis of Carbon Nanotube Tunneling FET
In this research work, we have varied several parameters of a carbon nanotube based tunneling field effect transistor (CNT-TFET) such as the dielectric constant of the gate insulator (κ), channel length, oxide thickness, doping level, and the nature of doping to investigate how the performance of the CNT-TFET is affected. The performance analysis has been done based on the following performance criteria: Subthreshold swing (SS), threshold voltage ( V T ), and on-current to off-current ratio (I on /I off ). In addition, we have also analyzed how linearity and distortion figures of merit such as second-order voltage intercept point (VIP2), third-order voltage intercept point (VIP3), third-order input intercept point (IIP3), and third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) are affected by parametric variation. By observing the impact of parametric variation on this large number of performance metrics, a compromise choice of structural parameters is possible depending on the application. Moreover, we have proposed an asymmetric doping design that suppresses the highly undesirable ambipolar behavior in CNT-TFET. In a real-space approach, the simulation study has been carried out using the elegant non-equilibrium Green’s function (NEGF) formalism considering tight-binding Hamiltonian.
Improvement in Fresh, Mechanical and Microstructural Properties of Fly Ash- Blast Furnace Slag Based Geopolymer Concrete By Addition of Nano and Micro Silica
In this study, the effect of nano-silica (NS) and silica fume (SF) on workability, setting time, compressive strength and microstructural properties of fly ash-ground granulated blast furnace slag (FA-GGBFS) based geopolymer concrete (GPC) is investigated. Five mixtures of each containing 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0% and 2.5% NS and SF are prepared for this investigation. The optimum GPC mixture with NS resulted in compressive strength of 63 MPa and the SF modified GPC achieved a compressive strength of 59.59 MPa after 28 days of outdoor temperature curing (Avg. temp. 31.4℃). The hardened concrete samples are analyzed through X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and petrographic examination, for the better understanding of geopolymer mineralogy, mechanism and microstructure. Results indicate that both NS and SF facilitated a higher degree of geopolymerization, leading to the densification of the geopolymer matrix which led to the improvement of the properties of FA-GGBFS based GPC.
