أجريت هذه الدراسة في الأردن عام 2022 من قبل وحدة البحث والتطوير في جمعية العون الصحي الأردنية الدولية لتقييم مستوى معرفة الأردنيين بمفهوم التغير المناخي. استهدفت الدراسة عينة من 396 فردا من جميع الفئات العمرية وكانت المشاركة مقبولة من الرجال والنساء. أظهر المشاركون في الأغلبية مستوى جيدا من المعرفة حول المفهوم حيث كانت إجابات الأغلبية أن تغير المناخ هو السبب وراء عدم استقرار الطقس. كما توقع معظم المشاركين تأثيراً اقتصادياً بينما ينظر حوالي %52 إلى المفهوم على أنه سياسي وتوقع %73حدوث الحروب بسبب تغير المناخ. وأوصى الباحث بمزيد من التعاون والتنسيق على المستوى الوطني الذي يكون فيه إشراك لمؤسسات المجتمع المدني أمراً حتمياً. الحاجة إلى المزيد من الدراسات والمراقبة الدقيقة لقياس مفهوم التغير المناخي تعد أمراً مهماً لرصد خطة الاستجابة الوطنية بشكل صحيح.

Objectives: To investigate the effectiveness of Botulinum Toxin A (BTX-A) intravesical injections in improving quality of life (QoL) among pediatric patients. Introduction: Overactive bladder (OAB) in children impacts their QoL. Current treatments often have limitations, necessitating the exploration of alternative therapies. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was conducted in four Jordanian hospitals, with participants being parents of pediatric OAB patients aged 5 to 18 years. Statistical analysis was utilized for data analysis. Results: Results showed that BTX-A injections significantly improved QoL scores for pediatric OAB patients, with marked reductions in symptoms and enhanced well-being in the intervention group. Key demographic factors like household income and age at symptom onset were linked to QoL outcomes, and pre-treatment QoL varied by healthcare provider type. Conclusion: This study highlights BTX-A as a promising therapeutic and advocates for its broader adoption in pediatric urology to enhance the well-being and daily functioning of children with OAB.
