On a Lorentzian Sasakian manifold endowed with a quarter-symmetric metric connection
In the present paper, some results on a Lorentzian Sasakian manifold endowed with a quarter-symmetric metric connection have been studied.
Slant Riemannian Maps from an Almost Contact Manifold
In the present paper, we introduce slant Riemannian maps from an almost contact manifold to Riemannian manifolds. We obtain the existence condition of slant Riemannian maps from an almost contact manifold to Riemannian manifolds. Moreover, we find the necessary and sufficient condition for slant Riemannian map to be totally geodesic and investigate the harmonicity of slant Riemannian maps from Sasakian manifold to Riemannian manifolds. Finally, we obtain a decomposition theorem for the total manifolds and also provide some examples of such maps.
Pointwise semi-slant semi-Riemannian maps
We use the first variational formula on the fibers to deduce the necessary and sufficient conditions for the harmonicity of pointwise semi-slant semi Riemannian maps, which are defined on Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifolds. We define the sets of Legendre, Hamiltonian and Harmonic variations for any fibre of the map. Moreover, we address the characterization theorem for pointwise semi-slant semi Riemannian maps from Lorentzian para Saskian manifold to a semi-Riemannian metric manifold by considering the vertical Reeb vector field and investigate the properties of totally umbilical fibers. Beside from the peculiarities of pointwise semi-slant semi Riemannian maps, geometry of the distributions associated with the map such as integrability and totally geodesicness are also studied. In the end, we discuss a number of examples illustrating the existence of such maps.
A study on pseudoparallel submanifolds of generalized Lorentz-Sasakian space forms
In this article, pseudoparallel submanifolds for generalized Lorentz-Sasakian space forms are investigated. Submanifolds of these manifolds with properties such as pseudoparallel, 2-pseudoparallel, Ricci generalized pseudoparallel, and 2-Ricci generalized pseudoparallel have been investigated and the conditions under which these pseudoparallel submanifolds are totally geodesic are shown. In addition, necessary and sufficient conditions have been obtained for these submanifolds to be totally geodesic by means of the concircular, projective and quasi-conformally curvature tensors. At last, we provide an example for such manifold.
Semi-invariant conformal submersions with horizontal Reeb vector field
The present paper deals with the characterization of a new submersion named semi-invariant conformal submersions with horizontal Reeb vector field from almost contact metric manifolds onto Riemannian metric manifolds which is the generalization of some known submersions on Riemannian metric manifolds. We give important and adequate conditions for such submersions to be totally geodesic and harmonic. Also, a few examples are examined for such submersions endowed with horizontal Reeb vector field.
Failure of the Mahagathbandhan
[...]a combination of Hindu upper caste, non-Yadav OBC, and non-Jatav Dalits worked to counter the anti-incumbency effect created by employment and agrarian crisis. The Congress which constantly tried to be more majoritarian than the BJP, with its fear of annoying the majority community, could not make much headway with the voters. [...]many Congress candidates were disgruntled erstwhile leaders of the SP and BSP, who were denied tickets by their parties. [...]In the 2019 elections in UP, the BJP was eventually successful in consolidating the majority community against the caste-based parties in UP. [...]the growing acceptance of the ideology of Hindu nationalism has thrown up new challenges for the Indian polity.
SOME PROPERTIES OF PSEUDO-SLANT SUBMANIFOLDS OF A SASAKIAN MANIFOLD
In this paper, we study pseudo-slant submanifolds of a Sasakian manifold. We find some results and investigate the integrability conditions of distributions which are involved in the definition of pseudo-slant submanifolds. Finally, we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition for a pseudo-slant submanifold to be pseudo-slant product.
Financial development, social development, and economic growth: the causal nexus in Asia
The paper investigates the causal nexus among financial development, social development, and economic growth for 15 Asian countries for the period 1961–2011. Using the Granger causality test, both at the individual country and at the panel settings, the results suggest that (1) financial development and social development generally lead to economic growth; (2) the Granger causality from financial development to economic growth and from economic growth to financial development coexists; (3) the Granger causality from social development to economic growth and from economic growth to social development coexists; and (4) the Granger causality from financial development to social development and from social development to financial development coexists. The findings are, however, not uniform; it varies from country to country and from region to region.
Transportation- Communication Infrastructure and Economic Growth: The Panel VAR Application
Previous studies generally find mixed empirical evidence on the relationship between transportation- communication infrastructure investment and economic growth. In this paper, we re-examine the causal relationship between transportation- communication infrastructure investment and economic growth by panel Granger causality test and by utilizing a richer panel data set that includes 34OECD countries over the period 1960-2012. Our empirical findings strongly support the existence of cointegration between transportation- communication infrastructure investment and economic growth in the long run and have bidirectional Granger causality effects.
Semi-invariant Conformal submersions with horizontal Reeb vector field
The present paper deals with the characterization of a new submersion named semi-invariant conformal \\(\\zeta ^{\\perp }\\)-Riemannian submersion from almost contact metric manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds which is the generalization of some known submersions on Riemannian manifolds. We give important and adequate conditions for such submersions to be totally geodesic and harmonic. Also, few examples are examined for such submersions endowed with horizontal Reeb vector field.
