The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation is reshaping labor markets, emphasizing creativity as a core competency in entrepreneurship education. Large Language Models (LLMs) provide personalized learning experiences through natural language processing (NLP), enhancing real-time feedback and problem-solving skills. However, research on how LLMs foster creativity in entrepreneurship education remains limited. This study analyzed the technical characteristics and educational impact of LLMs, focusing on their applications in entrepreneurship education and their role in fostering creativity-driven learning environments. Specifically, it explores the educational effects of LLMs, their integration into entrepreneurship education, and the ways in which they enhance learners’ creative thinking. A systematic literature review using the PRISMA methodology was conducted to analyze existing studies. Findings suggest that LLMs improve self-efficacy, cognitive engagement, and creative problem-solving, supporting entrepreneurship education in areas such as business model development, market analysis, and multicultural communication. Despite these benefits, concerns remain regarding over-reliance, ethical risks, and the need for critical thinking frameworks. This study proposes a hybrid model integrating LLMs with traditional pedagogies to maximize creativity. Future research should explore long-term effects, cross-cultural applications, and ethical challenges to ensure responsible implementation.

Design of EM Sensor for Non-Contact Detection of Defective Wire Harness in Conveyor System

For a non-contact detection of defective wire harness in conveyor system, a new method using the electromagnetic (EM) sensor is proposed in this paper. A dual-feed and multi array microstrip patch antenna operating at 5.8 GHz is utilized to design the EM sensor. When the wire harness is located above patch antenna, the equivalent circuit of each patch antenna and wire harness can be modeled as shunt resistor, capacitor, and inductor. Moreover, a capacitive coupling between the patch antenna and the wire harness is generated. Next, the shunt resistor of wire harness increases due to the defect of the wire so that the reflection coefficient of the patch antenna is lower than that of the wire without defect; thus, the defect of wire harness can be detected by magnitude of reflection coefficient at resonant frequency. The performances of the designed EM sensor are verified and compared by the equivalent circuit modeling, full-wave simulation, and measurement.

Metabolic flexibility includes the ability to perform fat and carbohydrate oxidation, as well as oxidative capacity, which is associated with mitochondrial function, energetic contributions, and physical health and performance. During a session of graded incremental exercise testing (GIET), we investigated metabolic flexibility, the contributions of three energy systems, and performances of individuals with different metabolic characteristics. Fifteen general population (GP; n = 15, male n = 7, female n = 8) and 15 national-level half-marathon and triathlon athletes (A; n = 15, male n = 7, female n = 8) participated in this study. During GIET, heart rate (HR), oxygen uptake (V˙O2mean and V˙CO2mean), metabolic equivalents (METs) in V˙O2mean, and blood glucose and lactate concentrations (La−) were measured. Furthermore, jogging/running speeds (S) at specific La−, fat and carbohydrate oxidations (FATox and CHOox), and energetic contributions (oxidative; WOxi, glycolytic; WGly, and phosphagen; WPCr) were calculated. The percentages of HRmax, relative V˙O2mean, V˙CO2mean, and METs in V˙O2mean were all lower in A than they were in GP. FATox values were lower in GP than in A, while CHOox and La− were higher in GP than in A. Negative correlations between La− and FATox were also observed in both groups. Contributions of WOxi, WGly, and WPCr were higher in GP than in A during GIET. Moreover, values of WGly, and WPCr were significantly lower and higher, respectively, in male GP than in female GP. Furthermore, S at specific La− were higher in A than in GP. It is suggested that an individualized low-intensity recovery exercise program be established, to achieve increased metabolic flexibility and oxidative capacity (aerobic base), such as public health improvements and a greater volume of higher exercise intensities; this is the type of exercise that elite athletes worldwide mostly perform during their training period and progression. This may prevent cardiac/metabolic diseases in GP.

This study provides an updated overview of the clinical characteristics of post-traumatic trigeminal neuropathic pain (PTNP) resulting from dental procedures or facial trauma, addressing its etiology, prevalence, evaluation, management, and prognosis. PTNP arises from injury to the trigeminal nerve, which governs sensory and motor functions in the maxillofacial region. The prevalence and characteristics of PTNP vary considerably across studies, with a reported prevalence ranging from 1.55% to 13%. The predominant causative factors are dental procedures, particularly third molar removal and implant placement. While gender distribution varies, a trend towards higher incidence in females is observed, particularly within the 40–60-year age group. Anatomically, the mandibular nerve is frequently involved. PTNP presents with a spectrum of symptoms ranging from tingling sensations to severe pain. Diagnostic challenges arise due to the lack of standardized criteria and potential overlap with focal neuralgia, necessitating comprehensive evaluation. Misdiagnosis can lead to prolonged patient suffering and unnecessary interventions. Successful management hinges on prompt diagnosis and interdisciplinary collaboration, with early intervention crucial in mitigating progression to chronic pain. Although nerve recovery post-trauma is challenging, preventive measures through accurate evaluation and treatment are paramount. Management strategies for PTNP include non-invasive and surgical interventions, with non-invasive approaches encompassing systemic and local pharmacological management. This narrative review aims to enhance uniformity in PTNP evaluation and treatment approaches, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.

The Location of the Fibular Tunnel for Anatomically Accurate Reconstruction of the Lateral Ankle Ligament: A Cadaveric Study

We aimed to describe the location of fibular footprint of each anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) and calcaneofibular ligament (CFL), as well as their common origin in relation to bony landmarks of the fibula in order to determine the location of the fibular tunnel. In 105 ankle specimens, the center of the footprints of the ATFL and CFL (cATFL and cCFL, respectively) and the intersection point of their origin (intATFL-CFL) were investigated, and the distances from selected bony landmarks (the articular tip (AT) and the inferior tip (IT) of the fibula) were measured. Forty-two (40%) specimens had single-bundle ATFL, and 63 (60%) had double-bundle patterns. The distance between intATFL-CFL and IT was 12.0±2.5 mm, and a significant difference was observed between the two groups (p=0.001). Moreover, the ratio of the intATFL-CFL location based on the anterior fibular border for all cadavers was 0.386. The present study suggests a reference ratio that can help surgeons locate the fibular tunnel for a more anatomically accurate reconstruction of the lateral ankle ligament. Also, it may be necessary to make a difference in the location of the fibular tunnel according to the number of ATFL bundles during surgery.

Background: Tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) is an aggressive oral malignancy characterized by early submucosal invasion and a high risk of cervical lymph node metastasis. Accurate and timely diagnosis is essential, but it remains challenging when relying solely on conventional imaging and histopathology. This systematic review aimed to evaluate studies applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnostic imaging of TSCC. Methods: This review was conducted under PRISMA 2020 guidelines and included studies from January 2020 to December 2024 that utilized AI in TSCC imaging. A total of 13 studies were included, employing AI models such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Support Vector Machines (SVMs), and Random Forest (RF). Imaging modalities analyzed included MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound, histopathological whole-slide images (WSI), and endoscopic photographs. Results: Diagnostic performance was generally high, with area under the curve (AUC) values ranging from 0.717 to 0.991, sensitivity from 63.3% to 100%, and specificity from 70.0% to 96.7%. Several models demonstrated superior performance compared to expert clinicians, particularly in delineating tumor margins and estimating the depth of invasion (DOI). However, only one study conducted external validation, and most exhibited moderate risk of bias in patient selection or index test interpretation. Conclusions: AI-based diagnostic tools hold strong potential for enhancing TSCC detection, but future research must address external validation, standardization, and clinical integration to ensure their reliable and widespread adoption.

Anatomical Classification for Plantaris Tendon Insertion and Its Clinical Implications: A Cadaveric Study

The purposes of this study were to ascertain the morphological characteristics of a plantaris tendon (PT) insertion using a larger-scale dissection of Korean cadavers and to classify the types of PT insertion related to the calcaneal tendon (CT). A total of 108 feet from adult formalin-fixed cadavers (34 males, 20 females) were dissected. The morphological characteristics and measurements of the PT insertion were evaluated. Five types of PT insertion were classified, wherein the most common type was Type 1 (39 feet, 63.1%). Type 2 and Type 3 were similar, with 16 feet (14.8%) and 15 feet (13.9%), respectively. Type 4 (6 feet, 5.6%) was the rarest type, and Type 5 had 25 feet (23.1%). The case of an absent PT was noted in 7 feet (6.5%). In the proximal portion, the tendon had a thick and narrow shape, became thin and wide in the middle portion, and then changed to thick and narrow again just before the insertion into the calcaneal tuberosity. This study confirmed the five types according to the location of the PT and the area of its insertion-related CT. The morphology of the PT insertion may be anatomically likely to influence the occurrence of tendinopathy in the CT.

Atypical Morphological Variations of the Sacrum in the Korean Population: A PMCT-Based 3D Reconstruction Study

Background and Objectives: The sacrum is formed by five fused vertebrae and connects the lumbar spine to the coccyx. It has four pairs of foramina for sacral nerves and shows important anatomical variations. This study aims to analyze the frequency of atypical sacral morphology in the Korean population using 3D reconstruction of postmortem computed tomography (PMCT) images, and to provide a systematic classification and morphological characterization. Materials and Methods: A total of 29 PMCT datasets (10 males, 19 females) from the National Forensic Service were used to generate 3D sacral models with Mimics software for the analysis of atypical sacral morphology. Key morphometric parameters, including sacral width (SW), sacral length (SL), sacral foramina distances (SFD1, SFD2), sacral vertebral heights (SH1, SH2), sacral curvature (SC), and sacral index (SI), were measured. Sacral foramina were categorized into three groups based on completeness, and auricular surfaces were classified into three types according to their vertical position. Results: Median values for sacral dimensions were as follows: SW 95.3 mm, SL 118.6 mm, SFD1 36.1 mm, SFD2 28.8 mm, SH1 28.0 mm, SH2 29.7 mm, SC 0.92, and SI 0.78. Sacral foramina variations were identified in 12 of 29 cases (41.4%) as incomplete, including one case with an incomplete upper opening. No significant sex-based differences were found in foramen or auricular surface types, although females showed higher values for SW and SI (SW: 97.2 mm, SI: 0.86). Correlation analysis revealed positive associations between SL and both stature (r = 0.635) and weight (r = 0.645), and negative correlations between SI and stature (r = −0.663), SL (r = −0.921), and SC (r = −0.845). Two cases (6.8%) exhibited sacralization, while the remaining 25 cases had the configuration of five lumbar vertebrae and six sacral segments. Conclusions: Our findings support the notion that atypical segmentation patterns are more prevalent than sacralization. Atypical sacral morphology was observed in 29 cases (19.8%), most commonly involving a normal lumbar spine with six sacral segments. These findings highlight the relevance of sacral variation in clinical and anatomical contexts.

The Relationship Between Adolescent Orthodontic Treatment and Temporomandibular Disorders: A Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis

The relationship between fixed orthodontic treatment and the development of temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) in adolescents has been a topic of considerable debate. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the impact of fixed orthodontic treatment on the prevalence of TMDs in adolescents. A comprehensive literature search was conducted using PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, Google Scholar, and the Cochrane Library, yielding 886 records. After duplicate removal, 665 records were screened, and 8 studies were assessed for eligibility. Following quality assessment using the Joanna Briggs Institute checklist, 4 studies were included in the final analysis. Data were analyzed using a random-effects model in RevMan software. The meta-analysis revealed an overall odds ratio of 0.75 (95% CI: 0.37–1.51, p = 0.42), indicating no statistically significant association between fixed orthodontic treatment and the risk of developing TMDs. Substantial heterogeneity was observed (I2 = 73%), attributed to variations in study designs, populations, and outcome measures. The risk of bias analysis highlighted concerns in several domains, particularly selection bias and measurement of outcomes. While confounding bias and missing data bias were generally well-controlled, deviations in intervention and inconsistent outcome measurements were noted across the studies. These findings suggest that fixed orthodontic treatment does not significantly alter the risk of developing TMDs in adolescents. However, the substantial heterogeneity and potential biases across the included studies emphasize the need for further high-quality, standardized research to confirm these results and provide clearer clinical guidance.

Novel Ensemble Learning Approach for Predicting COD and TN: Model Development and Implementation

Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) generate useful data, but effectively utilizing these data remains a challenge. This study developed novel ensemble tree-based models to enhance real-time predictions of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total nitrogen (TN) concentrations, which are difficult to monitor directly. The effectiveness of these models, particularly the Voting Regressor, was demonstrated by achieving excellent predictive performance even with the small, volatile, and interconnected datasets typical of WWTP scenarios. By utilizing real-time sensor data from the anaerobic–anoxic–oxic (A2O) process, the model successfully predicted COD concentrations with an R2 of 0.7722 and TN concentrations with an R2 of 0.9282. In addition, a novel approach was proposed to assess A2O process performance by analyzing the correlation between the predicted C/N ratio and the removal efficiencies of COD and TN. During a one and a half year monitoring period, the predicted C/N ratio accurately reflected changes in COD and TN removal efficiencies across the different A2O bioreactors. The results provide real-time COD and TN predictions and a method for assessing A2O process performance based on the C/N ratio, which can significantly aid in the operation and maintenance of biological wastewater treatment processes.
