Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a helicopter crashat age 63, the government confirmed. The country's foreign ministerand seven others were killed after the crash in a remote, mountainousarea of Iran's northwest. Iran's first Vice President Mohammad Mokhberwas appointed as acting president of the Islamic Republic after thedeath of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash in thecountry's northwest. Iranian state media has confirmed that PresidentEbrahim Raisi and the country's foreign minister have died in ahelicopter crash.
