THE ORGANIZATIONAL BENEFITS GENERATED BY THE MEMBERSHIP TO A CONGLOMERATE OF REGIONAL CLUSTERING TYPE. THE IMPLICATIONS OF \ROSIA MONTANA PROJECT\ ON CREATING A MINING CLUSTER IN THE \APUSENI MOUNTAINS\ AREA FROM ROMANIA
2013
Starting from Michael Porter's statement, according to which the cluster, the simple concentration, pack or spatial, territorial agglomeration of SMEs, specialized in a field (service, product, knowledge) or interrelated areas, can generate sustainable competitive advantages in the market (including global) in this sector of specialization, in this article I will try to address the issue regarding to the implementation of regional cluster concept and of sustainable regional development in the \"Apuseni Mountains\" area, taking into account as nucleus the mining project from Rosia Montanä (Romania), which could represent a real lever and a good example for stimulating the mining industry competitiveness, both at regional and also at national level. The idea of designing a regional cluster model, that has as \"motor drive\" the mining project from Rosia Montanä, which otherwise should be like a point of \"concentric radiance\" in the purpose of launching of new economic activities and of developing of new specialized firms, could contribute to the increase of employment and of competitiveness of the companies in the region and implicitly to the improvement of the life of communities in which the cluster will be implemented, bringing also significant benefits to the Romanian state, both directly, but also indirectly through the multiplier effect and thus providing an example of good practice for other initiators of regional clusters. The Prediction of Successful Probability of CSR and Sustainable Development Strategy Implementation within \Rosia Montana Project\ using Fuzzy Logic
2013
This article aims to develop a methodology to forecast the probability of success regarding to the implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and of the strategy of sustainable development in a mining company. By multiplying the importance rating of factors that influence the adoption of CSR and sustainable development policy with values resulting from the evaluation of the possibility of successful implementation of this policy with respect to each factor, the result is a probability that suggests if the implementation of CSR and the sustainable development strategy will have the overall expected effect of if, in case the result is not properly there, it will require remedial measures. The proposed methodology is applied in a case study concerning the Romanian mining company Rosia Montana Gold Corporation from Rosia Montans, Romania, and also concerning the community in which it operates.

THE MANAGERIAL IMPLICATIONS OF FUZZY LOGIC IN THE TRIAGE PROCESS OF CHILD AND JUNIOR PLAYERS WITHIN A FOOTBALL CLUB
2014
Even though most studies from the specialized economic literature approach various problematic aspects linked to corporations, production or service providing companies worldwide, a phenomenon that deserves to be researched is the management of sport organizations because, especially in the contemporary world, sport has become both a means to preserve health and to spend one's leisure time, but it is also a field in which a significant amount of money is made and invested. In light of this, sport organizations in general and especially football clubs must find the best tools and methodologies of management with the aim of ensuring organizational sustainability. A very important aspect of this undertaking stems from the phase of sorting or selecting and training child and junior players; they represent both the cheapest and most valuable human resource that can efficiently and effectively ensure both a level of performance, as well as financial income within a football club. This is an integrating part of a chain of sustainable value within a sport organization. In this context, the decision-maker responsible for these aspects are sometimes confronted with situations of uncertainty or ambiguity ultimately due to subjective reasoning, especially in the case of evaluating children or juniors; thus, the implementation of a qualitative mathematical instrument represented by fuzzy logic in the sorting and selection process of this human resource that would catalyse the delineation of a chain of value that can be sustained throughout the years within a football club represents a direction towards which any sport entity should aim, not necessarily those concerned with football.

EXERCISE OF INTERNAL AUDIT OF COMPLIANCE REGARDING HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT OF AN ENTITY IN TERMS OF FUZZY LOGIC
2013
This article aims to develop from the theoretical and practical point of view a methodology for the exercise of internal audit of compliance concerning the management of human resources of an entity from the fuzzy logic perspective. The reason for addressing this subject emerges from the great importance that human resource has it within an entity, regardless of its legal form, because its good evolution depends primarily on the quality of human resources employed within concerned entity. More than that, taking into account that the auditor's reasoning related to the way of assessing the proper management of human resources cannot often be deprived of subjectivity--aspect revealed by herself abstract thinking of human being, we consider necessary and effectively the approach of an instrument based on fuzzy logic in conducting the internal audit of compliance related to the management of human resources, which otherwise could be used by the auditor as within other organizational aspects related to internal audit. THE STRATEGIC DIAGNOSIS IN TERMS OF FUZZY LOGIC OF A CORPORATIVE MODEL OF EXCELLENCE THAT INTEGRATES SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
2013
Given the currently business environment, characterized by globalization and continuous change, the companies are forced to be more and more competitive and efficient into the market, especially when we refer to international one. Moreover, aspects within companies such as corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, stakeholders management, are very emphasized in our contemporary period, both by regulatory bodies, as well as by society viewed as a whole. In this context, the companies make efforts to strategically diagnose the compatibility status of their situation with respect to this conditions related to sustainable development previously mentioned. This task is not a very simple one, because the process of strategic diagnosis can be surrounded by uncertainty and ambiguity, taking into account the various circumstances met. Consequently, this process can be doubled also by the subjectivity of human factor reasoning, otherwise a main feature of the abstract thinking of human being. In this framework, using a qualitative mathematical tool based on fuzzy logic in order to threat this uncertainties, represents a very reliable and efficient manner for any organization to diagnose strategically its status with respect to degree of excellence in which it integrates the concept of sustainable development. Also, the proposed fuzzy methodology can be applied successfully either in other circumstances of diagnosis process, being so a powerfull instrument in this field of research where ambiguity occurs and predominates. A QUALITATIVE APPROACH IN TERMS OF FUZZY LOGIC RELATED TO THE EXCELLENCE ACHIEVING WITHIN MANAGERIAL PROCESS OF PERSONNEL SELECTION
2013
The present article aims to design and develop a qualitative methodology using fuzzy logic in order to be a real tool for the managerial decisional factor in solving the multicriteria decisional problems related to the proper selection of the personnel and to the achievement of excellence in this field within a company. In our days, the economical environment characterized by globalization and by a continuous change, offers many times to the decisional factors some situations which are surrounded by uncertainty and ambiguity, fact that in its turn leads to a subjectivism of their reasoning, which is in fact a feature of the abstract thinking of human being itself. This aspects are manifesting also in the field of personnel selection, where the evaluations related to this process are often subjectives, materialized through qualitative linguistic values. In this context, using the proposed fuzzy methodology, embedded in a fuzzy software tool developed in the Java programming language, can offer significantly opportunities and chances to achieve the excellence in this field of research, because the future and performance of any organization depend by the human resources that are working within it.

2019
Starting from Michael Porter's diagnosis regarding the dynamics of the competitive environment based on five forces and from the perspective of the value chain analysis in achieving the competitive advantage on a cutting edge market, this article proposes an in-depth analysis in the topic of purchasing decisions within economic organizations, whose processes need to be approached strategically in order for organizations to develop and evolve properly. Managing in a proper way the relation with the suppliers of goods, raw materials, and services will determine the costs to decrease and thus the revenues and implicitly the profit will grow, placing the entity on a good track in fighting with competition and bringing benefits for all its stakeholders. Moreover, taking into account that the environment in which organizations operate is often surrounded by uncertainty, the decisional process, especially the strategic one, is characterized by ambiguity, doubled also by the subjectivity of the human factor in decisional reasoning. In this context, choosing the right supplier according to specific selection criteria represents the most important decision of the purchasing function. Sometimes, it requests the implementation of qualitative mathematical methods such fuzzy logic, which is a powerful tool that can efficiently shape the ambiguity within decision-making process and support the organization long-term strategy and competitive market positioning.
