In his New York studio, artist Barry Fishman and Laura Soble met to discuss Barry's series of eighty paintings, including sixty-four I Ching hexagrams, titled Yin Yang and the Ten Thousand Things. As they viewed and experienced the paintings, Fishman shared his process of creating the images, including insight into how he devised a code to approach the I Ching hexagrams through color, and the connections among his creative technique, Tai Chi practice, and active imagination.
