Soybean cultivation in Ultisols is constrained by low soil pH and soil fertility levels. Dolomite and NPK fertilization are used to improve soil quality. The goal of this study was to find the best amounts of Dolomite and NPK fertilizer for black soybean growth and yield on Ultisols and how Dolomite and NPK fertilizers affect each other on Ultisols. This study used a completely random design (CRD) 2 factors and 3 replicates. The first factor was Dolomite with four levels: A1 = 0 ton/ha (control), A1 = 0.5 x Al-dd, A2 = 1 x Al-dd, and A3 = 1.5 x Al-dd. The second factor was NPK fertilizer with four levels: N0 = 0 kg/ha (Control), N1 = Urea 25 kg/ha, TSP 100 kg/ha, KCL 80 kg/ha, N2 = Urea 50 kg/ha, TSP 125 kg/ha, KCL 100 kg/ha, and N3 = Urea 75 kg/ha, TSP 150 kg/ha, KCL 120 kg/ha. The collected data were statistically analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at the 5% F level test. Research results show: 1) There is no interaction of single dose of dolomite and NPK on growth and yield of soybean Detam 4 2) Dolomite dose 1.5 times Al-dd gave the best effect on plant height and number of leaves 7 WAT and weight of 100 seeds, 3) There was no significant effect of giving NPK on soybean growth and yield except for the number of leaves 2 WAP.

2017
This paper analyzes the impact of regulation and supervision system on the application of financial risk management in BMT Beringharjo (hereafter BMTB) and BPRS Madina (hereafter BPRSM). As understood, BMTs are loosely regulated and supervised by the Department of Cooperation, while BPRs are highly regulated and supervised by Bank Indonesia. Using a qualitative method, this paper finds that the financing organization in BMT needs improvement as the director and the manager are the same person. The financing procedure works well despite the lack of online system to coordinate branch offices. The paper also finds that BPRSM complies the financing procedure made by BI. The financing organization in BPRSM also works well, from the top commisariate to the employees level.

Post-moratorium Tiger Prawn (Penaeus monodon) Double Rig Trawl catch in the Arafura Sea
2024
In 2021, trawling operations in the Arafura Sea were permitted to resume after a moratorium of several years. Therefore, this research aimed to provide up-to-date information to support sustainable tiger prawn management. Data were collected through field surveys and fishing trips aboard a double rig bottom trawler over a one-year fishing cycle (12 months) from February 2023 to January 2024. The monthly tiger prawn catch volume and size composition were recorded and analysed descriptively. The average daily catch was highest in November (803 kg/day) and lowest in May and June (86 kg/day and 64 kg/day, respectively). Tiger prawn weight range was 15-107 g. The most frequently caught size classes were large T-18 (mean 83.3 g/prawn, total volume 13,380 kg) and small T-100 (mean 15 g/prawn, total volume 861 kg). The predominant processed (headless) prawn size classes were L (1,488 kg) and S (614 kg). From December to January, the percentage of small prawns (T-60 to T-100, S and SS classes) increased significantly; therefore, a closed fishing season covering these months is recommended.

The Mediating Role of Financial Behavior on Financial Well-being Among Small-scale Fishers in Trenggalek Regency, East Java, Indonesia
Graphical Abstract Highlight Research Financial Well-being is the result of the interaction between cognitive factors (literacy), psychological factors (attitude, self-efficacy), and behavior, but, it is closely associated with the psychological domain. Strengthening financial literacy programs by combining practical (skills and behavior) and attitudinal (attitude toward money) components to improve FSE, which in turn enhances the FWB of fishermen in Karanggongso Coast. This research expands the financial adaptation paradox to coastal fishing communities, highlighting the unique determinants, such as cognitive, psychological, and behavioral factors that shape their financial outcomes in their pursuit of FWB. Future studies should incorporate non-financial behavior mediating variables and use financial well-being measurements that consider psychological and financial aspects to test direct and indirect pathways. Abstract Karanggongso Coast is one of the significant hubs for capture fisheries, which serves as a buffer zone in Trenggalek, Indonesia. There is more small-scale fishing, focusing on a dual livelihood system created by its location as a favorite tourist destination. Nevertheless, the community contends with persistent financial instability, characterized by income-expenditure imbalances and vulnerability to external shocks. The study aims to analyze the relationships between financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and financial attitude on financial well-being, with financial behavior as a mediating variable among fishers in Trenggalek Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) – Partialy Least Square (PLS) to test the relationships between financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and financial attitude on financial well-being, with financial behavior as a mediating variable. This research was conducted from August to December 2024. The results indicate that directly the variables FL and FSE have a significant positive effect on FWB; but FSE and FA have a significant negative effect on FB, and FL has no effect on FB. Meanwhile, the variable FB has a significant negative effect on FWB. Then it is known that FB does not mediate the relationship between these factors on FWB. Thus, this study recommends strengthening financial literacy programs by combining practical and attitudinal (attitude toward financial) components to improve financial self-efficacy, which in turn enhances financial well-being. Future research should include non-financial behavioral intervening variables, such as socio-cultural, and use of financial well-being measures that consider both psychological and financial aspects.

2020
The huge potential of the mangrove forest in Gulf of Prigi, Indonesia, is being threatened by the unsustainable management of four institutions, each of which have their own vision of the forest. Thus, this study aims to strengthen the sustainable management of mangrove forests through institutional reinforcement, analyzes the development of productive business as economic incentives, and finds sustainable management models for the mangrove forest. This study employs a focus group discussion and intensive negotiation. The data was analyzed by using GeSCA in order to determine products to develop under the value feasibility criteria of NPV, IRR, Net B/C, and Pay Back Periode. The result of the study shows that intensive negotiation is effective to change the perspective of sustainable management. It is then reinforced by the economic reinforcement approach through the development of productive mangrove-based businesses. The result also shows that there are several products worthy of development from mangrove fruits, brownies, crackers, dodol, palm sugar, and coconut milk.

The characteristics of marine debris and water quality in Palu Bay, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia
2022
This study is aimed at analyzing the marine debris condition in the coastal area of Palu Bay and the correlation of water quality characteristics in the region, such as water temperature, salinity, Total Suspended Solid (TSS), turbidity, BOD5, COD, N-NH3, NO3, and PO4-P, using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The study utilized in situ and ex situ water quality measurement instruments. All measured parameters were compared with those of standard quality established by Indonesian government for tourism and biota. Results revealed that organic marine debris was dominated by seagrass pieces, while the inorganic one was dominated by plastic wastes. The water quality characteristics correlation in December 2019 was 82.4% with main factor 1 (F1) of 65.95%, main factor 2 (F2) of 16.45%, and major characteristics of TSS, turbidity, BOD5, COD, and salinity. In January 2020, the correlation was 61.92% with main factor 1 (F1) of 37.06%, main factor 2 (F2) of 24.86%, and major characteristics of salinity, and TSS. In February 2020, it was 63.89% with main factor 1 (F1) of 38.31%, main factor 2 (F2) of 25.58%, and major characteristics of PO4-P and COD. Coastal area and river are major media of waste distribution. Increasing waste volume is potential to negatively influence the coastal and marine system.
