Leader-Led Training
2006
Clearly, people do not want to waste time and resources on training initiatives that do not stick and do not matter. All employees look to the top to see what the leaders are actually doing, tracking, and supporting. Change initiatives go better when they are driven from the top down. Involve leaders for three reasons: 1. Involve leaders to avoid the \"double standard.\" 2. Involve leaders to take advantage of personal, team, or organizational development. 3. Involve leaders to take advantage of on-going positive influence. HR managers, consultants, process improvement specialists, COOs, and training professionals can take three steps to help them make improvements: 1. Organize materials in bite-sized bits. 2. Use space learning. 3. Create a leaders guide.
