In this work, [Peter Collington]'s colored pencil and watercolor drawings are in constant motion: sometimes hanging vertically down the page, other times horizontally across it, from squares to rectangles and back to squares. Far from distracting, the images are constantly inviting us deeper into the dream, much like the images in two other classic wordless books, [Lynd Ward]'s ''Silver Pony'' and Raymond Briggs's ''Snowman'' - though the author's art lacks the strength of the former and the fluidity of the latter.
